Exactly, they shouldn’t be rewarded with getting your team fit and clear from injuries, while at the same time making it more difficult for other teams due to condensed scheduling. Covid has been around just over 2 years and there are many protocols in place to limit the spread within your team, unless you have irresponsible twats that break the rules in order to have parties etc.
The outbreaks we have had (and some other teams) were identified and isolated incredibly quickly.

Conte must be thinking “What the fucking hell am I doing here?”.

Until a few weeks ago… did not think it possible for Conte to look any older than he did…
Then he goes and signs for Spurs and blows my concept apart.! :0)

It’s the Covid card…for sympathy, for extending rules of when games have to be played…their medical systems for checking, isolating and need looking into.

Always been one player with us, evidently to spread someone’s messed up there.
Especially as the protocols should still be in place as they were heightened again when we hit September if I remember.
It could be very unlucky but why is it always the same teams?

What’s the odds on more Spurs players testing positive tomorrow?

Had to be, it is an outbreak situation.
I hope Rennes are absolute bastards over making dates available, as they have every right to be.

There is literally no space in Spurs calendar they are going have to fit it in like we did or forfeit.

Rather hoping that Rennes demand it is played middle of next week, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. The delay should not be in order to let Spurs come back up to strength, but to ensure there are no more cases.

Well it’s a free week for Rennes where the week after would go into their break.

and Spurs schedule is even worse that week after.

Well they got there own way…
We didn’t.
They might be required to field two different teams in the space of 24 hours, as we had to during the FIFA Club World Cup! One team in the Conference League and another in Carabao Cup. Surely that is the only plausible solution?
And the postponement of the match is slightly unfair to Vitesse, who play their match tommorrow. So Spurs will know before the match exactly what result they need in order to progress (which Vitesse cannot know).

I hope they get banned from all European competitions if they forfeit. They must be made to play sometime this month. I am hoping the PL won’t bend over for them.

They’ll be some excuse, some leeway, something to get them out of the poo…PL and Europe will pander to their excuse and predicament…we had to cope…

Not sure Rennes will accept it in that league cup week, they would be more open to this coming week.
Actually they can’t, they’ve got a league game.
The only space Rennes have is next week. Monday - Friday.

Wonder who the source of the outbreak is? Bet Harry Kane is claiming it.
