Good to see Spurs improved a dreadful night of football in the only way they can
Roy Keane’s on ITV covering our game tonight.
Just called Spurs Spursy for last night
If you wanted the most miserable night in of your life you could do worse than listening to Pink Floyd’s ‘The Final Cut’ with Antonio Conte.
Fixed for accuracy
Nothing miserable about that Everton performance for anyone that isn’t an Everton fan that is.
When Conte arrived and Spurs won a couple of games, I thought they would have a good go for top four. Then they spluttered, and Conte whined. And while Man a Utd continued to underwhelm, Arsenal put a few results together.
I think it is between Arsenal and Spurs, and Man Utd will be no higher than 6th, which is awful for the team that finished second and added Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo.
You forget West Ham, they could still play a big part in the make up of European teams for next season, and I would love it if they knock Utd out of Europa League and into Euroipa Conference
Paratici to psg apparently. The man came in, botched their Diaz transfer, and then fucked off. Proper spursy that.
Well done spurs
Stop the presses: Spurs have won something!
Our thanks and respect… well, until they start acting like cunts again.
If he wasn’t so unlikeable and without even a grain of charisma, Kane would be one of my favourite non-Liverpool players. He never ceases to amaze me with his game intelligence and his grasp of basic skills. If I was him, I’d instruct my client to have a word with people at Bayern (provided that Lewandowski leaves in the summer).
Isn’t that like me saying that if Putin didn’t do all the evil stuff he is doing and has done and instead had come to power in 1999 and helped entrench Democracy and integrate Russia into the western world then he wouldn’t have been such a bad fellow?
If you were born with great footballing skills and at the right time, you would likely be playing under Klopp now.
Great shout, that would be the perfect move for him.
Guaranteed league titles and cup wins, deep runs in the CL, would probably get 50+ goals and assists every year with relative ease (if not more) putting him in the ballon d’Or coversation.
I think he’d prefer to stay in England now, perhaps it’s “too late” to go abroad.
But…
It’s a tricky question as the clubs he’d realistically go to (let’s say City/United/Chelsea, especially the former two)… circumstances and timing might be a bit crap.
Perhaps the best chance for the move City is gone now and United, who knows what happens with them over the next couple of years (will it be seriously better than Tottenham?).
A move to United still wouldn’t surprise me, but the big question I think with Kane will always be that contract extension or option he agreed to tie him with Spurs for so long.
If that or those were more ‘normal’ contracts, he wouldn’t still be at Spurs now.
Emma just broke my heart.
At least she’s won something, unlike her team.
