The first television that I bought new was a 32" widescreen CRT set in 1999. It weighed about 60Kg. Our living room at the time was on the first floor. The deliver drivers were essentially a comprehensive lexicon of Scottish swearwords.
Reminds me of a few years ago.
Me and a workmate were on a fitness drive and were a bit obsessed with weight loss, forever doing before/after weigh ins.
I proudly informed him that I’d just had a 1.3kg dump.
He was quite impressed until I told him the scales were a bit messy
