Hopefully this sort of potential maneuvering strengthens the resolve to kick them out of the Prem. They have kept this going for years and years. Kick them out!
OMG ! Just realised I could post this song, which I probably last listened to when I was 24 years old and stoned on hashish along with a friend, almost half a life ago.
And it’s almost not off-topic !
Enjoy !
Seriously though, that Rocka Rolla album is one HELL of Debut album by a rock band. I mean, omg it has strong songs. But of course, the album that came after, Sad Wings of Desteny (1975 ?) is probably the best they have ever made, despite being prog rock and not at all metal, as we know them to be today. But this, Cheater, that is just very cool bad boy Rock n’ Roll
First time I’ve looked.
Couldn’t do more than 2 pages.
You wouldn’t expect any of them to be happy about this, but the complete non acceptance of guilt is fucking staggering.
For anyone who hasn’t taken the plunge, don’t.
No interest in proving innocence, just getting off at all costs, even citing Etihad Airlines suing the PL for defamation and tying them up in court for years if the appeal fails.
Here is a snippet of the mindset. They scummy red cunts are trying to destroy us, that’s pretty much clear now, and all the gimps who follow those shithouse clubs are acting like it’s Christmas! In response I’m now at the stage where I hope we destroy the fucking lot, tear the Premier League down and wrap them up in so many expensive legal court cases that we bankruptcy the fucking lot of them, salt the earth and destroy the entire system, bring the lot crashing down, it’s run by a bunch of dishonest corrupt crooks anyway.
If they keep calling us the bad guys let’s actually really become the bad guys and smash top flight professional football in this country into tiny little pieces. Fuck the lot of them. I’m up for a massive scrap and I don’t really care what the consequences are now.
Of course, when he says he is up for a massive scrap, what he means is he is up for some lawyers having a massive scrap, while he watches vicariously from a distance.
I note the comments afterwards shouting ‘JUST KICK THEM OUT FFS’, but stuff like this only highlights how absolutely robust and watertight the league have to be. Any slight wording or process misstep is going to be pounced on regardless of how trivial and banal it is.
I’ve been saying all through this process people have to be incredibly patient and let the league take their time.
Dont conflate blind stupidity or idiocy with people being certified. Those unlucky enough to require treatment have a hope of recovery.
The people defending the indefensible haven’t.
I have a question for those, who like me believe Man City should be kicked out of the league.
We have played 5 games, if Man City are to be kicked out, does it happen instantly, or wait? And if wait, what is the point at which they get kicked out?
Something I have just thought about, 5 teams have already played them and lost. If Man City get kicked out today, how does that affect those 5 teams form? Results can be overturned or reversed but what about the form and confidence of the teams tht have already played them?
Also, how does that compare to teams that have yet to play them and now suddenly get a bye at some stage that the first 5 teams didn’t get?
I’m thinking that the only 2 fiar options are, play half the season, then kick them out after the 19th game, that way, every team has had to play them once. Or the other option is to hit them with a points deduction to ensure that they can’t win the league and then kick them out after the season finishes.
Usually punishments are announced and being effective asap during the season.
This is also what I hope for before the end of the year. A huge points deduction and other punishment/sanctions like fines, transfer bans, and forcing their owners to sell, etc.
What I’d do next as the PL is turn that blackmail game around and tell them to either except the punishment (which means they are going to the Championship) and stop with the time play / appeals or call for an emergency meeting with the PL clubs to vote for them to be expelled.
