The thread for those Vile Cheats Manchester City. Who cheated

Thank you for sharing this @klopptinho mate. I think a lot of us were (and still are) incensed at the injustice of it all and that ire tends to get misdirected at anyone with a different viewpoint.
But that’s what each one of us brings here, opinions and viewpoints. We need to give each other more grace.

I just wanted to try and get rid of this idea that i am some kind of city fan or city ‘apologist’ .. My daughters go to school everyday in LFC jackets!

For many of us, football is one of the things that helps us cope with life in general.

This life is what it is. It’s not fair in many instances. The world isn’t fair, look at what’s happening in the world and look at finances for the regular joe bloggs just as one example.

In football, at least you’d like to think “we have a fighting chance”

And then when you see the same sort of people who are probably the reason why the world is in turmoil (billionaires etc). stick their grubby hands in our game and even take this from us…

It is really taking the piss…at a whole new level.

Then I think about Stevie and all he’s put into the club and the sadness in his voice every time he is asked about THAT season.

And Klopp’s angry/exasperated/exhausted look after numerous dodgy decisions that went against us.

They took the air out of our balloon when we should have been rising highest.

I gifted my three daughters three of my prized old LFC shirts. One from our title win with Jurgen, one from the cup double season with Jurgen (near quadruple…should have definitely been a treble), and a vintage Candy one from when Rushie was in his pomp.

I have realised watching the Baseball last night and seeing them come up in adverts I instantly label them cheats.

To me their entire club is tainted and only a severe punishment will help them in my eyes and I suspect I speak for a lot of people in that opinion.

I just find it utterly distasteful to listen to anything to do with that club. I frequently find myself switching away from Sky Sports the minute they give any oxygen to any deluded views defending City. David freaking James came out and defended them.

Really not doing anything to disprove the stereotype that pro footballers aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed.

I recall david james or someone connected to him blaming his inability to catch a ball on him spending too much time playing computer games. When he was our keeper.

He stayed up the night before a big match playing video games and then produced a performance to match the “Calamity James” moniker.

“But we cannot talk down the success the players had…they still won it on the pitch.”

Aguero was arguably their best player of that early success. In 2013-14 he missed nearly half the season through a succession of different injuries. He got only 23 league games, but it was even worse than that as very few of those were done in full fitness given the pattern of Torres like he’s out- he’s back - he’s out again. That is the sort of injury situation that drastically impacts the major trophy aspirations of a normal team because while you have back ups, the difference between a back up and one of the best players in the world is big that over a period that extended it shows up in critical ways. Yet City had the players in back up to deal with it. And they did because the squad they build and were able to sustain was put together illegally.

Won it on the pitch cunts.

One time when I was in my mid teens, my dad caught me playing computer games (I think it was Battle Axe) at 2 am on a school night. After a slap and a bollocking I was send straight to bed.

James could have done with my dad being around that night for him.

Firmino, Mane and Salah cost lfc about 110mp between 2015, 2016 and 2017.

City cheating means they were able to add pretty much that level(all 3) every year for 7/8 years on top of what their legal earning allowed them to buy.

Yeah and it wasnt just the money, it was that the never ending supply of money meant the consequence of getting one wrong hurt them in ways way less significant than it did everyone else.

They are like a baseball player who swings for the fences on every pitch and as a result hits a lot of home runs, but he does this because he knows the 3 strike rule doesnt apply to him so the consequence of a swing and miss isnt there. [/bad analogy]

It’s not the first time this insinuation has been made , and I assume you’re talking about personal enrichment here. Has there actually been any reporting that might substantiate such a claim ?

It’s amusing to hear that paragon of virtue Kyle Walker prattle on about how they can never have the glory of victory taken away from them. I’ve got news for you Kyle …

Not that im aware of, so why i said if.
His odd comments do arouse suspicion though

Chatra is claiming what we all know, that City’s cheating continues till this day and is estimating that the real sum of illicit funding exceeds 1.4 bil pounds.

Mo Chatra on X: “We know Manchester City benefited from over £830m of illicit additions to sponsorship income courtesy of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG) between 2009/10 and 2017/18. I believe this did not stop, and continues to the present day. I believe ADUG paid City over £1.4bn since 2018/19.” / X

The owners will do anything to try and continue to lie to their fans about their cheating, so much so, Pep is now becoming an official cheerleader.

Pretty sure he said he’d had assurances there was no cheating (intimating he would kick off if that weren’t the case), but now they’ve been found guilty he is suddenly a Cityzen (WTF even is that).

I do wonder if he’s now being held hostage somewhat. If I were him, I’d be distancing myself from City/public eye entirely. The fact he’s not just confirms he was aware of all the cheating (I mean who isn’t).

Would like it if he came to Anfield - he deserves to hear the wrath of Anfield live this sunday.
