I had heard that a series following Vikings: Valhalla was meant to be in production, but this is essentially the same bit of history.

My wife will be delighted as she wanted to see something following this period.

More or less. The series is over now after I think 3 seasons. It’s an overlapping part of the history, although largely from a generation earlier, but focused more on the Danish perspective and angle than the Norman one.

Just finished watching season 2 of Shrinking. Can’t wait for season 3.

It reminds me in many ways of Rescue Me for the way it balances seriousness with humour, and such good characters/ actors.

I watched some show with Eric Bana as a park ranger in Yosemite. It was made by the same guy who did American Primeval so I thought it was worth a go. It was shite. Big avoid

Untamed helped me pass some time. Definitely not so bad as to avoid. I only have Netflix (well Canal+ for the foot but that’s real poor 1 film every 3 4 months) so was glad for something not scrapping the barrel.
Watching The Gentlemen ATM, very ‘english’ well acted and sound very good. Seems worthwhile.

I found the Gentleman very good - despite going in with low expectations. Untamed is okay - a bit generic but nice scenery!

Having just watched the first episode of this wow is it shit!
Untamed is much better.
Will give the second episode a try however it might only get 5 minutes if it’s just as bad.

Watching Massive Engineering Mistakes….the main advertising sponsor (on Quest in the UK) is a mobility scooter company. That’s rather unfortunate.
