Oh we probably haven’t the club just says no. And keep saying it.
As I said come Back in June 2024 then we might look at it.

there is your smoke @mattyhurst
Doesn’t matter the club says no.
“The final decision will rest with Liverpool, but one source has told Sky Sports News that Salah would like to listen to what would be on offer”- skysports
what did i say about players and being swayed
Doesn’t matter
My point has never been about whether he would love to make 65m or not. My point has been should the club sell and no they shouldn’t.
And if the statement from Sky Kav is true that doesn’t seem to have changed.
fingers crossed @mattyhurst. But if the player pushes and Saudi Arabia offers something close to a 100 million or more, Im not sure FSG say no
And then what.
No CL again. I don’t think FSG will do nothing Klopp doesn’t want them to do and the 100m will again have to be pretty much structured like Fabinho.
If this disappears after the Newcastle game then the owners have to make a point to the PL.
Maybe Im the only one here happy to sell Salah.
If they offer £100m it’s a firm NO, if they offer £250m then yes I’ll take it and so would FSG.
We can then talk about Mbappe again….just to please everyone.
not a bad idea to be honest…depending on price…
The way we sign players I don’t really trust we have a list of names to replace players with and let’s face it being given 250m won’t particularly create any bargains for you.
I also don’t think yet another player in will help the club. In a year when Doak is more settled and Dom and Macallister are settled with Endo then yeah do a deal. Anyone we should bring in towards the end of this window will be a challenger to players already here.
Just be silly this season.
And as I said if you keep saying yes then more and more players agitate for a move.
So far we’ve replaced well but with Endo it’s still a little unknown, it also doesn’t particularly sell the club well if the best players are leaving.
I doubt anyone’s particularly upset that they won’t get to play with Fabinho but Salah, Alisson, VVD, Dias.
It will be again and again and again. Only way to stop that is say No.
The club have said no.
His agent said he’s not moving.
Dejan Lovren has said it’s bullshit.
What more needs to be said?
Pochettino:
"I think the situation is tricky because we spent big money, but maybe the net spend is not more than Manchester United, City, Liverpool, or Tottenham. But, you know, the way that the news is or the perception is like, Oh, Chelsea is paying big money.”
is he sick, disillusioned, or both and high at the same time
Ornstien wrote the story, then went to Liverpool, who poo poo’d it. Ornstein tweets that. Double dip on a quiet day, sets off SNN, Flobrizio and every panicked liverpool fan.
Is it me or are we pretty much the only PL club where players we’re not keen to move on anyway are being linked and pursued?
There have been links with Alisson, Diaz, Thiago and Mo. I doubt we were actively trying to flog Henderson and Fabinho on this summer either. And they always seem to be these low cost fees with high wages (Fabinho aside).
Meanwhile City have made decent money on Mahrez and Laporte. Players at the end of the career or out of favour. Chelsea cashed in on Mendy and Koulibaly. The likes of Ruben Neves, Mitrovic and Saint-Maximan have gone but for good fees.
Why aren’t we seeing Saudi clubs linked with Rashford or Varane. No stories of them trying to get De Bruyne, Haaland or Ederson. None of them after any Arsenal players. But every week there seems to be a story linking these clubs to one of ours.
Makes absolutely no sense to sell Salah this summer and this late in the window. We won’t be able to sign a replacement. Chiesa and Sane being brought up by sources. Chiesa perhaps would move, but why would Bayern sell Sane this late? They wouldn’t. Plus we can still get 100M+ for Salah next summer. Firm and easy no. Fuck off.
