The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

That’s nothing I bet they run a story about Trent getting a new contract next week… that’s how in the know I am.

Bah, that’s nothing

I am so in the know that I can confirm Mo’s post Utd interview will drop the bomb that he is in the last year of his Liverpool career.

The player has gone on the record now saying it was close enough that he packed his bags only for the move to collapse on the final day of the window. Tigres claim the plan was to loan him for a season, but the plan fell through when we couldnt finalize the right loan deal

More than doubt… but they really aren’t climbing down from this.

By many accounts, just a “solid” player in a very weak league who is a rotational option on a poor Mexican national team. At 23, I’m not sure he would be a target for Liverpool (Montevideo) let alone us.

Of course, stranger things have happened. But still.

Probably thinks the blueshits would go ahead and buy him.

Wouldn’t mind the Zubilad still.

Sometimes you need to make the wrong move to realize what you really want.

I would pass personally, if he wasn’t all in first time around then I’d give him a swerve.

If true, it seems like his new deal he received didn’t meet his expectations so now wants to come to us after our initial interest.

Made your choice, we have gravenberg playing and nothing will stop him :raised_hands:

He can be an understudy to Grav

I think it’s clear his family had reservations about moving but maybe they have had a change of heart.

Grav can’t play every game, and Zubimendi offers something different tactically to what we already have, so I’d still be up for adding him

Me too. Interesting trajectory for Zubi though. He probably would have been coming as first choice 6, but now it could be understudy to Grav

I suspected this might happen. Turns out Sociedad weren’t quite as serious with those promises as they said they were.

I would still take him if he says he wants to come.

You made your bed, we made gravy and are lying in it.

Keep contract same, but offer less for transfer.

He has also had a chance to monitor Arne since he rejected the move. Maybe he likes what he sees now, and is getting positive vibes from others - In all fairness to Zub, pre-season timeline and everything else was an unknown regards LFC at that point.

Oh so now his club is down in the dumps, he supposedly wants out? Seems like a nice lad this 1. You made your decision, now focus on your helping your team stay up, twat.
