Read yesterday that City are planning a massive offer for Ricci in January.
When things are going well, itâs not too hard to guess. Okay, 4 positions might be too much and we have 3 key players with expiring contracts that might influence what we might need soon. But I donât miss the times when we have bloated, underperforming (or performing just to itâs average level) squads with a million questions who we can get rid of, who we can buy and where to start rebuilding.

If itâs Italia then theyâre in for a treat.
Stats only tell half the story but the stat side of the story is that Ricci is wank.
If Xavi Simons were to leave PSG in the summer, Liverpool would be seen as one of the most probable destinations for him.
[David Ornstein, The Athletic]
Iâd be disappointed if Liverpool were interested in bringing him. I just donât see what the fuss is about. Supreme technical ability but I rarely see it channeled into anything useful on the pitch.
These are the dumbest rumours and they wont die. He has been relatively successful at Real, playing almost every game he was available for, being a clear step above his French counterpart he is somewhat competing against, but has missed a good number of games through a succession of injuries. Every time he gets injured and misses a game someone in the transfer rumour game decides to spin that as him being out of favour and potentially available. The fact Carlo has used him as an emergency CB means that now he is returning to fitness he is going to be even more important to them for the rest of the season
Itâs fishy
Under the radar this⌠looks like weâve already bought him

Thatâs Salah off of weâve replaced someone in his shirt number.
Simons to me doesnât really fit the profile weâd be looking for, best position is at 10 and he offers nothing like the sort of qualities Dom and Curtis do nor do I think he is that much of an upgrade on the more comparable Elliott for the kind of fee they would demand.
Was it also Ornstein who mentioned Jonathan David? Now that would be an interesting link and would suggest to that maybe patience is wearing thin with Jotaâs injury record.
Or maybe our patience is wearing thin with Nunez.

You really hate him donât youâŚ
No, I donât hate anyone.
I wouldnât mind Corentin Tolisso from Lyon.
Not to mention why the fuck would we let Trent leave in January in the middle of a title (and CL) race? There is no way Real could make it worth our while
No hate; he just is NOT GOOD ENOUGH and we need an upgrade.
