He said he chained him up this summer…

I think PSG even when they had Mbappe (but knowing he’d be gone soon), made a lot of groundwork how to get another star player on that side of the pitch.

So them getting him isn’t surprising from that point of view. It’s more of a question for him, going from Napoli to PSG, but he’s still young enough to get to one of the best leagues after this.

They do have a number of wingers though and not a great situation up top. Kolo Muani seems to be on his way and Ramos has struggled. They’ve been playing the likes of Lee or Dembele as false #9’s. But anyway, that’s their problem, they might still sign a striker now or next summer.

And he would only seriously compete for the left side with a small outside chance of the #10 spot.

So Salah and his age has literally nothing to do with this. We’ll deal with replacing him (regardless if he’s still at the club or gone) another day.

Shame because he’s a very good player.

Glad he’s not signing for City, Arsenal, Chelsea.

United would have fucked him up anyway.

Hello, yes. Good afternoon.

Any links to any new DM’s or CB’s? You know…positions we’ve needed for about 34 years now.

Redmen TV said he was only on $30,000/wk, that’ll be the reason

Yeah, The Athletic (specifically James Horncastle, an expert on Italian football) published an article on him the other day, specifically mentioning his wages and comparison with other Napoli players. I think he’s still on his initial wages and he’s probably unhappy about it.

That said, if such a player wants to join an artificial, soulless club with no history over a club like Liverpool or who else might be interested in him that is not state-owned, then good riddance to him.

Could we afford how much it would take to convince Napoli to take him off our hands?

PSG will fuck him up as well look what they’ve done to messi and neymar.

Yeah what happened to that Messi fella? Last I heard he was a promising little player of whom big things were expected.

Turn them from millionaires to multi millionaires

Good point.

After what happened to Oshimhen, Napoli might have wised up that clubs in Europe might not be willing to overspend anymore and a player who stands firm on not going to Saudi, they are forced to loan him to Turkey. So he will still be going for good money, it might be lower than what Napoli are used to, especially now it’s open that he wants to leave.

I dont think we were ever in for this lad.
Agents just using our name as per ususal.
If we were and he chooses PSG over LFC or any other top Prem club I think that shows we he is at. He wants it easy and bar Scotland there isnt any easier than France.

Had forgotten about Calvin Ramsey completely.

Kaide Gordon also providing a timely reminder, with all the excitement around Ngumoha yesterday, that these youngsters not only need to be insanely talented but also incredibly lucky to make it here. Can be as highly rated as you like but an untimely injury or two that cause you to miss a chunk of time can completely set some of these kids back.

I’ve been reading about this but I don’t think I’ve seen any other source reporting it. Is there anything in German media regarding this?

No. BILD used Anfield Watch as a source :joy:
