The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

Should you pay wages for 30+ goals and 20+ assists per season? How exactly do you propose replacing such elite production?

Maybe by spreading the load more around the team. Right now we need him. But any drop off in goals and things are different. I am just trying to think forward a year or 2. It shows why itā€™s hard to get a deal.

Why are you concerned about what happens on the pitch.

You donā€™t ever post here about that.

Can you please explain why you only ever post after a bad result?

I donā€™t want to pick on you, but itā€™s really tiresome. You never credit the team doing well. You never talk about what a great season weā€™re having. You never seem happy with anything.

All you seem to do is wait until something has gone wrong, and then turn up prophecising doom and transfer failures.

Has to be said though @Mascot slot has under performed in his first season, mate in worked boasted that in their first season on FM they won it all, i mean if they can do it on basically a ā€œsimulationā€ of the game, why cant slot do it in reality?.

I would have been happy normally being 15 points ahead in the league and in a cup final this weekend, but it just shows like Slot, i have limited expectations, were really in crises mode.

Yes that sounds stupid. He might not be the same Salah. But how do you think he scores those goals and assists? At some point, you know he does have to get past marking and get into good positions to do those things right. He might not use speed to do those but intelligent players donā€™t use speed all the time.

EDIT: but yes I donā€™t believe you pay stupid wages to anyone although stupid wages is relative. I just donā€™t want the club to break any pre determined structure for anyone.

He uses his other account for that Almighty task.

Funny isnā€™t it. All Mo does is assist and score goals, doesnā€™t run in behind or beat his man anymore (Iā€™d question if thatā€™s true).

And yet the complaints against Diaz is that he gets in behind or beats his man often enough but doesnā€™t get enough goals or assists.

Different players in different roles but both just play wide forward positions so we expect their style and outputs to be the same?

With our luck weā€™d end up with some twat who canā€™t dribble or beat a man, with no end product.

On the plus side, United would fall over themselves to add him to their growing collection of similar players.

Rafa bought a few of those

I sometimes wonder what Nabil El Zhar is doing nowā€¦

I know this was rhetorical, but until very recently he was playing in Qatar on a bad to mediocre side along with Julian Draxler. Seems about right.

But then you end up with prime Messi on one side and Markovic on the other.

Even in that relatively bad game he still did. Including the time he knocked it through the defenders legs and sped away

Thats Antony.

Had a solid career in La Liga though. Donā€™t be dissing my boy Nabil.

The other thing he does now, which has been huge this season, is act as the main out ball and target man. Whether itā€™s balls into the space in behind or the aerial ball for him to control, Iā€™d guess most long passes this season are going to him and heā€™s doing a fantastic job making something of it or getting us further up the pitch. Goals, assists, controlling long balls whilst not getting back as much as others. Heā€™s essentially a traditional number 9 out on the right wing.

Thatā€™s 50+ posts without any rumours, please can we stay on the topic of wildly speculating based on fake ITK twitterati sources?
