It goes the other way as well. What a physique that is ready to perform looks like in lots of sports is often quite different from what people have in their head of the chiseled adonis image. That is true even of some athletes themselves, and its long been part of the job to divert them away from what are often counter productive efforts to get jacked or shredded by players who think that is what they need to perform.
