The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

West Ham bought him for €43m.

Delap has 13 goals

Fees are only stupid for clubs stupid enough to pay it. Kudus is a good player but he’s clearly nowhere near being an 85m player.

If you shop around and have the right network behind you, you’ll be able to find deals like Kerkez for 19m, or Huijsen for 15m, or Wharton for 20m, or Rogers for 15m, or a Milenkovic for 12m, a Murillo for 10m…the list goes on.

I like Kudus and think he has the tools to kick on a level. However, 85M is too much.

He’s a weird one. Bounced around quite a lot for someone so young. From Barca to PSG to PSV and then RB.

Only signed permanently for RB in the summer but contract is rumoured to be only a two year deal. Screams of an opportunity for them to flip a player with a rumoured release clause of about £20m more than they paid.

Got some flexibility to where he plays but can only see this happening if Diaz or Chiesa go. Probably the former based on the fee it’d take to get this lad but you could be looking at some who could play a couple roles.

We wanted Olmo last summer (possibly before everyone else), so… who knows.

He’d be a different type of offensive option to what we have, someone really technical and able to play a few positions between the lines.

That’s an awful lot for someone who, at his best, is just a bit of a pain the arse for the other team.

Its an awful lot for someone who flatters to decieve.

He’s an interesting player for sure, but with Salah staying and that high clause, it doesn’t make much if any sense to go for him. He’s also physical and has some skills so fans warm to these kind of players. Slot said after the game that West Ham have one or two players that could easily play for us, I think he meant Paqueta and Kudus. I’ve seen Kudus play a lot of different roles, but for a top side you’d imagine him playing in the forward line. West Ham (not that they are protagonists) made a mess of their planning in recent windows which doesn’t enable them to have their best players in their best positions. So you see Paqueta playing on the left, centrally too high or too deep, Kudus and Bowen clashing with each other, etc.

Not sure why we’d spaff that much on someone who plays in Salah’s position. Get a young prospect in that’s happy to sit on bench most games and learn from the king.

We need a proper striker for Mo to feed those outside of left boot crosses into. 30 goals a season on a plate :+1:

We won’t …

Jota is supposed to be that level of finisher and yet…

…he’s always injured or getting up to speed

How about Marca can go fuck off. Oh and Romano can do the same.

Even if it’s not true now, it’s only a matter of time before they or Barcelona make move. He’s a wonderful player.

We should move to renew him as soon as possible.

Yeah they will come looking for him eventually. I’d concentrate on some contracts this summer.

I think Barca are well equipped in Mac’s zone with the likes of Pedri, Gavi, etc. Olmo between the lines. Think they’re more in the search of another holding option (Partey). Will be interesting what other areas Real decide to reinforce next.
