The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

Why would anyone want to go to that circus Chelsea above anyone else is beyond me. Can only be about money.

Yeah, said a few days ago that Chelsea could end up being the main ones to battle for him.

Please don’t start the two threads.

You go to Chelsea if money is more important to you (or your agent convinces you it’s the better move so he can line his own pockets).

Never rated him anyway

He looks too much like my ex.

I hope his career goes the same way as the rest of them that go there.

Why Chelsea over the champions?

London? Regular game time when you play where VVD does? Belief they are building a super young super team for the future? Money?

None of it good football logic apart from VVDs position.

Pros. Learn from Virg. Decent wages. Best club and fans. Chance to be a legend. Champions.

Chelsea have 6 senior CBs on the books already. Not only does he have a lot of players to compete with, they are a disorganized mess meaning that even if he wins his battle so that he starts most of the big games, will he know who he’s playing alongside? Will he be able to perform as part of an ever changing rotation of fuckwits and cripples? Will the manager who makes promises to him this summer be there next season? Fuck, will he even be there at Christmas? Everyone is mocking Disasi for being shit after getting sent out on loan, but the year before he was their most used CB - more than Colwill, Badiashile, or Chaloboah. That is what a promise from Chelsea counts for. And their treatment of Chalobah was even worse.

Players will back themselves to make a difference and so maybe dont have the same sober thought process regarding a move as outsiders do, but it is pretty clearly a risky move for a player of his profile.

Probably wouldn’t read too much into April transfer rumours - whether its good or bad news.

If we want him, and the competition is Real Madrid, I can live with being second choice. Don’t like it, but I can live with it.

If we want him and the competition is Chelsea, I really do not understand why Huijsen would go there. Limie did a great job spelling out some of the long list of issues at Chelsea.

So if Huijsen does go there, in light of the great thing we’ve got going on at Liverpool, his judgment is called into question for me and it becomes a bullet dodged.

I’m only 1 week away from running through the Vatican catacombs Dan Brown style trying to find the codex that explains the hidden messages Trent is sending the fans in his IG posts

Because his Spanish agent is …

This article should provide a bit of insight as to why everyone believes Chelsea are favourites to land him. Basically, it comes down to his agent and the multitude of high-profile deals he helped broker with them.

If they are willing to pay his agent more than we are, good luck to them.

So the agent telling journalists he’s favourite to go to Chelsea because of his agent.

Sounds like someone trying to pump up his wages.

Fucking Mail. Chelsea “blowing away” their rivals. How did that work out for them?

Clickbait whores.

Another transfer window won.

In all honesty, this article is behind the paywall, so it’s not all clickbait. Still, both Daily Mail journalists that cover Liverpool and Chelsea are in agreement over Chelsea being favourites. We’ll see what happens.

Every chance we’re just not as interested as Chelsea are.

£50m+ is a lot of money for us to pay for a lad who isn’t gonna start more than, what, 25% if matches if VVD and Konate stay fit.
