I canāt stand them, but with Alonso going to Real Madrid, they might have their own ambition for Wirtz. They are late to the party, but if Alonso wants the player, itās not hard to see something like Guler going to Leverkusen, plus cash, for Wirtz.
Similar to the Elliott plus cash deal proposed above.
Obviously Real Madrid are a bit top heavy and they need to find better balance, but Alonso might have in mind a couple of surprising subtractions, and Wirtz could be an addition he wants to make.
Ugh. I should stop with this thought. I have told myself Wirtz is between us and Bayern, and we have a chance.

GĆ¼ler is way too good for Leverkusen.
Real seem to have retreated on this one and the player is likely to want it done before the internationals, so probably in the next week or so.

Heās mustard. Madrid have criminally underused him; I have no hesitation whatsoever in saying that heās potentially just as good as Wirtz, and he wouldnāt cost anywhere near as much.

I wouldnāt object to Doak to Everton, but if heās got any sense he would wait to see if there are any better alternatives. As for Branthwaite, I think Utd would be more willing to pay the exorbitant price that Everton would want.

In other words they arenāt even going to enquire about him because they know he aināt for sale but they think it makes them look big to be linked to our player. This is why, incidentally, I think itās crucial we are cunts to them about not letting TAA go early for the tin pot cup; they need to know we will make things hard for them at every step of the way so they look elsewhere.
