I think it’s partially due, this season at least, to the title “race” having been over for ages. The media need something else to generate clicks.

I think it might be a great signing as he is very strong and fast and scores goals a bit like Mane. He won’t get barged off the ball like Elliott And even Salah get done.
Wouldn’t make sense with Mo staying.

We just need to find the Darwin Nunez of the pilot world to fly the private jet - they take off aiming for the goal of landing at Madrid airport (the pilot short haul equivalent of a tap in from 2 yards out) but end up inexplicably skewing it so far off target they arrive in Saudi Arabia

This is something that crossed my mind before, from what I saw and read, he could be an interesting target. Not necessarily someone who would join us immediately next season, but see if a loan there or elsewhere would be better.
I guess Cunha’s disciplinary record rules us out of the move for him. But he could be someone playing in that hybrid 10/false 9 role that we seem to want Wirtz.
How about we just try and buy Wirtz?
