The Unreliable LFC Transfer Rumours Discussion Thread (Part 3)

They perhaps remembered what he did to Messi and co in the Barcelona drubbing.

I like the club and the fact they are successful with their horrible play style. They have to go about it via the dark arts to compete with Barca and Madrid.

El Cholo is a right cunt…but he gets results. I’d rather see them win La Liga or Copa del Rey over Barca and Real.

It’ll be a one way contest. Like all players that go to Real, Trent will start diving, screaming and rolling around. Robbo on the other hand is already a bit of a shit house and that’d only be ramped up at athletico. He’ll snap Trent

I hope we keep Robbo. He’s a bit off what he was, two games a week is now too much, but he still has plenty left to give. I see an overlap season with Kerkez, and if the young man has to bide his time a bit, that means Robbo is doing well, which is a good thing.

Totally agree that is the most sensible attitude the guy is part of the spine.

It would add spice to the Madrid derby

This is interesting! According to this Robbo has already said yes to Atleti. I actually think that is a good fit for him.

Wait until it turns out he already speaks fluent Spanish!

It all started with the Bobby song, I think…

Hopefully he’s the first choice there. I think he can go on to have a rather good career if he’s lucky with injuries, be it at Liverpool or somewhere else. Heitinga is probably all too aware of it, hence the quick swoop.

If Robbo goes, we need someone who can deputise at LB and CB at a higher level compared to Joe Gomez and the 2025 version of Robbo…

Só Joe Gomez?

Problem is who are going get to come in like that who isn’t Joe Gomez?

Have we sold Tsimikas already?

With the potential exits of Robertson, Diaz, Quansah, Nunez, Elliott, Jota, Kostas, Chiesa, Gomez and Tent already gone. Its a lot of movement in one off-season i know we have brought 3 in but you are essentially we need to bring at least another 4 or 5 seems far too much movement in one summer.

I doubt both Robbo and Kostas go. Diaz would only go for a high fee if we had a replacement lined up, same with Quansah. Nunez is clearly gone, but I don’t see a need to sell Jota or Gomez. Probably only half your list will actually leave.

According to LFCEcho Napoli are open to a swap deal of Osimen and Nunez plus they want Chiesa as well. We were supposed to get a good price for Nunez from Saudi but he wants to stay in Europe apparently.

Anyone seen ten full matches of Osimhen?

I would prefer Ekitike who will roll his sleeves up unlike Osimen who is a proven goal scorer but not a very good team player.
