I just hope it doesnt endup with Klopp saying the customary thing in his press conference that : “Thiago and Bajcetic are like new signings”
The most annoying and laughable part of the rumours about Salah is “the Saudis are preparing x amount for Salah” what the hell does preparing mean and even the BBC sports app is peddling the same rubbish

Overpaid on Lavia/Doucouré then in the hope one of them will prove to be good enough to be worth it.
Not the worst strategy in lieu of something more considered, I suppose. Hopefully not something we keep repeating.

And I would agree.
But some options are less bad than others.
I always thought that we should go for Gravenberch, even last season when Bayern signed him for less than 20 mln. pounds it looked like a very solid business. Yes, Gravenberch did not make it there, but he did not have many chances to play and Bayern were in a total chaos changing managers during the season and almost lost the title.
Now I read that Dortmind are close to signing Bella-Kotchap for around 20 mln. pounds /loan with option to buy/, a very, very good young defender. And I have the nasty feeling /very si milar to waht I felt wgen Bayern signed Gravenberch/ that we will be sorry not to intervene and giove BVB a free run to sign him. Top player who has an enormous potential and could be a long solution for Liverpool’s defence.
I feel like this has become this recent trend where the Twitter journos say things like “club x is PREPARING a bid for x player.” WTF does it mean to “prepare” a bid? Why do I need to know that?
Their need for clicks just wastes everyone’s time. Just tell us when an actual bid has been made.
