Im seeing the links now to Guehi and he is not someone Ive ever been particularly impressed with. Granted I havent seen much of Palace this year, especially since Viera left, but he has never looked anything other than a standard Chelsea grad - a solid PL player but one where its clear he didnt stick around. In contrast I watched Colwill for half a game and identified him as a much bigger prospect.
I am conscious I may have been judging him based on an expectation that he wouldnt be anything special though. Am I missing anything?
Some rather unreliable links with Leipzigās Szoboszlai but I hope that eventually he might be a target for Klopp. Heās a brilliant young player, and reportedly a huge fan of Klopp to boot.
If Klopp really wants a versatile attacking midfielder, I think that heād be a better or at least a more cost-effective option than Mount (who might swerve us anyway).
Aside from having to adapt to a completely different league, my worry would be that he suffered a severe injury a few years back but I think heās been a regular for Leipzig since. Everything else about him as a football player is pretty good.
Heās one of those guys whose position isnāt clear, but seems well suited for and has at times played in the advanced left position in the midfield 4
Iām beginning to think that the Mason Mount leaks were public negotiations by his agent to leverage a bigger deal for his client. Liverpool was never his intended destination. It was just a ādrum up interestā ploy by name dropping LFC. I kind of feel dirty and used. LOL. Well good riddance, I wasnāt a huge fan of Mount for Liverpool anyways.
I genuinely donāt know. I think Keitaās level was higher when I first saw him play but I also donāt remember him having any significant injuriesā¦ Szoboszlai is a more attack-minded player, though, and I did a quick search on his injury history and, for what itās worth, it seems like he hasnāt had any since the one that made him miss basically one whole season (2020/21).
