Half space? Isn’t that the space between two dimensions? We should be exploiting that.
Anyway, here’s some rumours, some of which may have some truth to them because it would be hard to believe that we haven’t reopned talks with Guehi’s reps or that Saudi clubs are not interested in Mo Salah.
Clubs in the Saudi Pro League remain committed to signing Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, 33, who was dropped by Liverpool on Sunday. (Talksport), external
Liverpool have reopened talks with the representatives of England defender Marc Guehi in a bid to sign the 25-year-old from Crystal Palace in January, having missed out on a deal in the summer. (Teamtalk)
In the “No shit, Sherlock dept.” we have this … Liverpool are one of the clubs at the front of the queue to sign Bournemouth and Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo, 25. (Football Insider)
It wouldn’t be the BBC transfer gossip without Fichajes …
Liverpool and Arsenal are preparing January bids for Real Madrid’s 24-year-old Brazil forward Rodrygo. (Caught Offside), external
Liverpool have moved in front of Barcelona in the race to sign 26-year-old Brazil midfielder Ederson from Atalanta.(Fichajes - in Spanish)
But that’s why I said we don’t have the same level of English, people from all over the world. Knowing original terminologies… we sure everyone knows that? Of course we don’t. Not even football professionals use the same words, let alone fans.
I honestly don’t care one bit if someone says regista, #6 (even if in Argentina it’s #5) or deepest lying midfielder. We understand what that means, most of us.
Inside right/left is good, inside forward though… well, maybe that player or that position isn’t a forward one.
It’s not about sexy names or trying to be clever, if we understand each other that’s the main thing? If the conversation is quality, that’s a bonus.
The post just above, claiming contact between Bayern and the Wirtz camp. Wirtz has made a slow start at Liverpool. Bayern would likely still love to have the player.
In a hypothetical scenario, I was wondering if Olise for Wirtz was something people would even consider.
It would be Wirtz all day long for me. I think the team needs to be built around him, and as an understanding with the others grows, we will kick on.
There is a lot more to that tweet than what is included above. Hans Wirtz contacted Uli Hoeneß because Hoeneß still keeps talking about Wirtz and he finds it disrespectful and unacceptable.
A big no, Wirtz is exceptional and his performance against West Ham is a taster of what will come, I’m lost that fans can’t see the quality and effort he puts in.
Jusst needs time for him to acclimatise to the speed and physicality of the Prem league.
Was it here that I had heard he had put 2.5 kgs of muscle on in the last month or so?
Well, if they give Olise AND Kimmich then we must accept that deal. Having both Olise and Kimmich will totally revamp our right wing from the back to the front, which is more valuable than Wirtz.
