Incidentally I mentioned him back in June after the Diomande thing went south as lefty who profiled a bit like Rayan.
Also slightly concerned to see Martinelli getting closer to leaving Arsenal when weāve yet to sew up any of our winger targets.

Wait - they are going for two players at once? Donāt City know you can only work on transfers sequentially so if it takes 3 months to agree a deal with PSG that just prevents you doing any other business

Nah heās off to Saudi by looks of it. But if Arsenal have the cash for Alvarez but canāt make that happen I donāt see them keeping that money in their pocket. Everyone else is in transition and they know their time for a period of dominance is now.

I mean we have but thereās at least four sides to every deal so itās not always that simple.
You imagine we bought Anthony Gordon at the start of the window to only then find out we could have had Barcola but heās ended up at Arsenal instead.
Iām okay with waiting on Barcola provided it gets done. And left wing wise Iām not sure Iāve seen anyone move yet that Iād rather have instead of Minteh. The big issue is if they then donāt come off which is what happened with Guehi.

I would tell City they can have Gakpo if we can have Semenyo, Guehi, OāReilly and Lewis to give us a bit of squad depth

I think if all of this goes through, Barcola will mainly be used on the left and Minteh on the right.
