Lad changes his agent more often than Diomande and his parents sound like theyāre more worried about milking their cash cow than nurturing his career.
Would be the hardest of hard passes for me, irrespective of the talent.

I too am cautious about those kinds of stories, but hopefully the club has done itās due diligence on him. The fact that PSG is rumored to sell him and target other depth options clearly means that they find him expendable, one way or another.
Perhaps heās frustrated by a lack of playing time, but surely heād understand that he wouldnāt get much time behind that front line. Heād get more opportunities here, though.
What was reported when he switched to Mendes was that it was his second change of representation in about 12 months, with the agita coming from his family āadvisorsā who felt previous agents werenāt getting them the deal they thought he deserved.
If we sign him Iāll be cautiously excited, but I see the rumours of our interest and feel a lot of skepticism about it at this point

Yeah, Iād trust the club on this, they have the information. Enrique said good things about him last year, in terms of how heās training and playing.

That does give me some pause, though if the issue is the parents, Iām less worried about it becoming an issue as he gets older and becomes (hopefully) more independent. Parents can be overly protective (or exploitative) of their children, depending on how you look at it. And Mbaye probably needed actively involved parents to protect him from exploitative agents and clubs.
But also, it could very well be that theyāre interfering in problematic ways.
I would be more concerned if Mbaye, himself, was being obstinate at training or causing issues in the dressing room.

Barcola and Ngumoha for the left; Munoz and Mbaye for the right? Bring it on. And with three of them on the āemergingā side of the equation, it would be lovely to see Iraola bring them through like our own versions of Kroupi or Rayan.
Many people want us to do that sort of thing, and for those who want the potential associated risks to be mitigated, we will also have established attackers like Isak, Wirtz and Barcola, if he signs.

Didnāt Slot wanted us to be more like PSG? The recruitment team has awaken from the slumber and still thinks Slot is the gaffer, and gets the players from PSG so that we play like them.

I would love it if itās buy two, get one loan for Zabarnyi.
The defender can then come in and help with the depth we need, while also giving us a buffer to assess how the younger players come through, before deciding on an outright purchase.

Iāve no idea who or what that account is, if itās got any credibility, but Iām very much in favour of it all, yes to everything. There is proof of life, things are happening, and Iām here for it.

Interesting rumor on Ibrahim Mbaye and with the current crazy prices for players, makes the rumored amount wanted seem reasonable and it is a position we need more options in. Plenty of play time through rotation and subs for another winger/wide forward.
