The What's cooking thread

I’ve seen that Chef’s other videos and he’s a great chef no doubt and has a very good way of presentation. Just seeing that image of that dish isn’t a curry. Seems like a chicken stir fry with some thickener like cornstarch added.

That is an awfully large urine specimen. Normally it is just a small, capped cup is it not - Jeeze, how much did you drink last night to fill that in one go

I raise @cynicaloldgit’s spoons breakfast with a home made cauliflower, brocolli, and chickpea korma. Complete with a Canadian twist of maple syrup in it. Bit more pokey than your average one too.

Uh-oh. @Sithbare and his korma purist army will be after you.

Probably common knowledge, but you never know eh…

An “insane” X-ray has revealed a man’s lower body infested with hundreds of tapeworm eggs.

Last year a man complaining of constant headaches went to the doctors, before a chilling scan revealed he had multiple cysts across his brain as well as swelling, and experts confirmed they were caused by a pork tapeworm that had laid eggs in his brain.

The eggs were causing the tissue under his skull to become irritated. They were contracted as a result of the man eating undercooked bacon, as he told doctors he had a liking for “soft bacon”.

People can develop tapeworms after eating raw pork (file)

Doctors wrote: "Our patient’s lifelong preference for soft bacon may have led to instances of undercooked bacon consumption.”

The unnamed man in the case study was taken to an intensive care unit and given medication to reduce the swelling in his brain.
"The moral of the story is never eat raw pork.”
