He is some player, was so far above anyone on the pitch first half, if he had been fit all season we’d have walked it.
The key for Klopp and his team is to find the same balance when he doesn’t play, Milner wasn’t particularly bad but when Thiago went off today we lost all impetus and direction.
Hopefully this is Jones or Elliot.
He is just different class with his range and type of passing, very hard to replace

It would take some pair of balls to do this, but if the final is looking like we’re going to need to go Hendo, Keita plus one, I’d have a serious look at Elliott.
He is the closest we have to Thiago in the squad, certainly in terms of passing, speed of thought and ability to see a pass.
It would probably be Milner though, who seems to be fifth in line according to Klopp.
Im hoping Fab is fit for the final.

Really hope he is ok to start the final. Five subs, last match of a hectic schedule so at 90% fit he should start.
I’d guess it also depends on Fabinho being fit also but he historically does struggle to get up to speed following an injury which is a worry when you are coming up against a midfield of Modric, Kroos/Camavinga and Casimero.
Elliot was brilliant last time he came on, Jones was equally very dependable.
Such a shame.
I can’t witness us having a normal midfield against Real, it’s just not possible.

As disappointing as it is , just cast your mind back to our starting XI the last time we met in the final and who we had to turn to once Salah went off.

Got to hope he is available or Fabinho, I think one will mind.
I’m more bothered about Fabinho. Obviously disappointing for Thiago on a personal level if he misses it, but having Fab back would be preferable.
Hendo can cover for Fab, but nobody does what Thiago does.
