Toulouse vs. Liverpool: Europa League, Nov 9 Thursday 17:45 GMT

Off to Toulouse, not to lose!
1-1!

Iā€™m sure that JĆ¼rgen and his team will know the personnel, formation and tactics to see us through this game. COYR YNWA :+1:

Absolutely no need to play anyone who will start v Brentford, maybe 20 mins as a sub but not from the off.

Kelleher - Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Chambers - McAllister, Endo, Elliott - Doak, Gakpo, Jones/Diaz depending on fitness and personal circumstances.
Pretty sure we can win the group just by beating LASK at home. Would take that scenario if it meant 3 points at the weekend.

Conflating ā€œToulouseā€ and ā€œto loseā€? Thatā€™s your bit? Oofā€¦

Toulouse team news by WhoScored:

  • The visitors will be without Zakaria Aboukhal, Denis Genreau and Oliver Zanden for the fixture against Liverpool.

Generally with this.

A point or not Toulouse (Iā€™ll get my coat) isnā€™t the worst result and after watching the tiredness in the second half Iā€™d rather not see any of our main players out there.

Evidently I feel the disruption did impact in a way. Happy to see Diaz play some part if he feels like it due to the lack of playing recently and McCallister should play.

Itā€™s only just November, we have been rotating plenty if we are already tired we are in deep shit.

Itā€™s more about how the week planned was a bit thrown out with that delay in the plane.

Doesnā€™t surprise me if tiredness showed as it did in the second half if your plan has been derailed.

Itā€™s a minor thing but nothing is left to chance.

Iā€™m looking forward to this one as I have just bought (hopefully) a couple tickets for it. The stadium is about 20 minutes from where I work and so on an impulse I took a punt on, a hopefully not dodgy, website for some tickets. I managed to find (at least pay for) a couple that were not too expensive!

Itā€™ll be the first Liverpool game for me in the almost 40 years Iā€™ve supported the club - shocking and maybe ā€œnot a true fan likeā€ for some but there we are, life is not always a straight line. Iā€™m going with my son and hopefully heā€™ll enjoy it and not have a 30 year wait between League titles!

Watched the open part of the training session today, Jones is still absent.

I go with

Gravenbergh-Endo-Mac Allister

In midfield.

Looks like Gravenberch was also missing.

Perhaps go with Endo, Elliott and Mac.

Liverpool squad for Toulouse: Alisson, Gomez, Endo, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Gakpo, Elliott, Jota, Tsimikas, Matip, Chambers, Scanlon, Doak, McConnell, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Mrozek.

Virgil, Curtis and Ryan not traveling.

Is that a tactical move or injury? Canā€™t imagine they are all carrying knocks.

Jones and Gravenberch were not in the training photo van Dijk was so he is rested I think.

Virgil ill. Will return for Sunday.

Curtis hamstring. Will be back after international break.

Ryan knee pain. Might be back at the weekend but definitely after international break.

Poor Jones, always has some bits preventing him from a long run without any interruptions.

Heā€™s another Iā€™m wary of counting on all that much.

At least some decent news on the other two.

Hope Gravenbach is able to play on Sunday.
