Toulouse vs. Liverpool: Europa League, Nov 9 Thursday 17:45 GMT

Playing hard- sometimes too hard; but not enough composure

Need a spark in the final 3rd, need to link up better and have runners, seem a little static in possession

Toulouse are shite. We’ll score 3 in second half.

Still concern about some of our back up players, though I guess we can’t have too high expectations

Toulouse don’t look capable of creating anything unless Tsimikas decides to fall over again.

We probably have to turn to the bench - Gakpo has been disappointingly invisible again. Nunez and Salah will sort this one out.

Mac Allister is going to have to slide back into his best role - the 6 - and take Endo off as he’s a walking red card right now.

Kostas is turning into another Moreno.:scream:

Realistically, when we bring on Trent/Szob/Darwin/Salah, we should have far too much for them to deal with.

Nunez for Gakpo and Trent for Tsimikas after HT.

I was thinking more swapping out Endo for Dom before he gets sent off and swapping Tsimikas for Trent but playing 3 at the back.

Shouldnt have to though.

I think Endo is very good when we are in possession but is too slow in transition and seems to always be too late in the tackle or challenge

I mean that’s fair, but i shouldn’t have to clean my own toilet either, yet there I am every day with a bastard brush and some bleach.

This is a lineup that doesn’t play together very much, with little in the way of experienced leaders present and a lot of young lads. We’re away to a team that desperately wants to qualify out of the group. I can accept a bit of sloppiness and the need for the big guns to come out second half.

It’s worrying that we’re stuck with Tsimikas for the next two months.

Probably the 1at game this season that the I feel that team put out hasn’t really gelled in the way we have played

Klopp doesn’t make changes at HT often, to make 3 at once…ruthless.

Could see Gomez starting at LB quite regularly over the next couple of months.

Sounds like you have too much peaches in your diet :mask:

Take it you’ve only tuned into our 2nd halves this season then because LASK, Wolves, Newcastle and Luton were all as poor.

Blatant foul on Mac at the beginning of that

I appreciate the referee wanting to let the game play but he can’t just ignore clear fouls to achieve that.

Like a knife through butter there
