Fenerbahce have agreed a 14m euro (£12.1m) deal to sign Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, who has been City number one since 2017.
The 32-year-old changed the face of goalkeeping in the Premier League and has won six top-flight titles, the Champions League and FA Cup after joining from Benfica for £35m, but has not featured this season.
The Gianluigi Donnarumma and Ederson transfers are both contingent on each deal happening - Donnarumma is expected to join but would not do so if Ederson does not agree to go to Turkey.
And there’s this. No-one saw this coming. Did they?
Edit: Apparently @Livvy saw it coming over in the Bundesliga thread.
‘With immediate effect’ - Leverkusen’s Ten Hag statementpublished at 11:07 British Summer Time

Bayer Leverkusen
Right, here is that very short statement from Bayer Leverkusen on X announcing the departure of former Manchester United and Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.
It read: “Bayer 04 Leverkusen has parted ways with head coach Erik ten Hag with immediate effect. Training will be taken over by the assistant coaching staff for the time being.”
Fuck… that is really bad… Gomez is injury-prone, we all know that, but he has one peculiarity: as soon as he’s on the pitch, he performs at his very best. Yesterday, he saved our collective asses several times after coming on. And he’s very versatile. That’s not Guehi’s case I presume?
Surely you dont leave Frankfurt for Palace as a step up, only to do well and cash that in by going to Leverkusen? Even without considering their current situation.
