Really annoyed with Sky Sports and their narrative around Liverpool’s transfer dealings. Bringing on anti LFC biased people to paint us in a bad light when we’ve been nothing but professional.

This is how bad it’s been. The person being the most positive (in relative terms) has been Paul Merson.
Now Purslow is saying PSR rules need to be loosened. And Purdew talking more tripe about us only having noticed Guehi because of Palace’s FA cup win.

We should really make formal complaints to Sky. There’s been no criticism of other clubs and their transfer business. Just ours.
I don’t watch Sky sports news at all for transfer news. The rise of social media has made them wholly redundant in terms of breaking stories. Most of the times they are last to the party on any inside info.

What they conveniently fail to mention… we are mostly spending our winnings gained from the previous season.
If you are at the tables in Vegas, and you hit a lucky streak and amass these extra funds, then in theory, you are only using house money when you make a further bet… All we are doing, is returning our winnings from the PL and CL campaigns, back into the footballing world…!

I’ve seen 200m suggested incoming. It’s difficult to estimate net spend because the financial details around Jota have (quite rightly) been kept confidential.
We are still looking at a huge net spend. It feels a bit like when I first had a mortgage. I had a nice house to show for it, but the amount I owed made me feel sick to the pit of my stomach.
We do appear to have secured everyone that we wanted, which is pretty impressive. As George Formby would have said:

The mistake is watching sky sports. They aren’t particularly quick to tell you the details anyhow. Might as well refresh this sporadically. Plus as someone said all their presenters look like AI lab creations.
