Trent ALEXANDER-ARNOLD: 2021/22

2021/22: 3135 mins third highest behind VVD and Alisson
2020/21: 3835 mins
2019/20: 3991 mins
2018/19: 3388 mins
2017/18: 2654 min

I know Klopp considers Milner and Gomez as backup for Trent, but it would be really nice if we have a proper backup like Tsimikas is to Robertson.

Which one?

His passing is just amazing.

Absolutely. Would like to see Trent improve his shooting from open play. He (and Andy) should be scoring more goals. It may seem silly to say it given how much he already contributes from RB, but there is no reason he canā€™t develop some of the Early Stevie G long range shooting prowess - heā€™s got the power in his shots, the technique and accuracy when it comes to crossing and Iā€™d hope that over the next 2-3 seasons he starts to contribute goals too.

Hahā€¦even in what has been labeled a pretty bad season for him - and still is, compared to his normal output - Messi is the outlier.

Is that the entire bitter squad at 0,0?

oh looks whoā€™s grouped in there with him? A certain Luis Albertoā€¦

If he was a yard faster heā€™d be world class. similar Suso both done very well in Italy, much slower league.

Alberto was one whom I thought we didnā€™t give enough time to. Suso was a bit too soft and petulant for my liking, and hasnā€™t done much since leaving Milan. only played 42 games in 3 seasons for Sevilla.

Burned on the pyre of Rodgers ego. Always thought he did well for us is his small cameos, but Rodgers would not play him as he didnā€™t buy him.

Bit of a shame really, he was on loan when Klopp came into the club and only got a summerā€™s training in with the gaffer before he was sold. Looking at the midfielders we have had since that time, if he was already jaded by the purchase and loan situation and return to a new manager I could see why heā€™d want to look for a different place to play. And since heā€™s done well at Lazio, I think he made the right decision.

A skilled and talented player, but I think there were maturity issues in his early days with the club, and I think he lack the physicality that Klopp values.

Youngest player to have won the Champions League, Super Cup, Club World Cup, Premier League, Carabao Cup and the FA Cup at only 23.

One of the best games defensively heā€™s had. Some brilliant reactions, sometimes out of nowhere or from behind. Need him to play to a similar level in both directions in Paris, because Real will put a lot of hope in that brilliant Benzema & Vinicius link up, attacking their left inside (our right) channel.
