I didnāt even know there was European football being played today. Nice to see Porto beating Arsenal. I expect Arsenal to go through in the second leg, but they will have to sweat for it.
If they get knocked out, good. Let the nearly man thing take hold in that club.
If they go a bit further, get their hopes up, expend more energy, and still get knocked out, even better.
Not for me. Going through will give them prestige and more belief. Getting knocked out, theyāll look to concentrate on the league, yes, but the pressure will be on for them.
Porto couldāve taken a 2 goal lead, and they would probably need that in the away leg.
Yeah, that would be nice. In a way, that Porto result last night is ideal because it means they will take the return leg very seriously. Iād be very surprised if they donāt thump Porto at Emirates but still, anything to distract them and Man City from PL would be a welcome bonus. Hopefully both go out in semifinals.

They need to scrap second leg and it hangs over them now for a fortnight all these things can play on the players so itās a good result for those reasons even if they go through.
After the joke performances by the last two teams against them not creating one shot on target will also create some doubt.

Would like for arsenal to focus on UCL and take their eye off the premierleague.
If they do scrape through against porto, Iād like to see them draw shitty in the next round so the UCL would impact the premierleague for both teams

Hope Porto dump them out as quickly and painfully as possible, donāt believe in the whole take their mind off this if theyāre still in that concept. Momentum is what counts. They went out in the last 16 to Sporting in the Europa around this time last season when they were very much in the title mix, they lost belief in themselves then they drew to usā¦drew to West Hamā¦drew to Sotonā¦smashed by City.
Ideal scenario is Arsenal to be leading 2-0 and looking comfortable to then concede in injury time forcing it into extra time where it remains taking it to penalties with both teams scoring all 11 shots so they start again before it eventually finishes 33-32
