Totally different situation. We got 9 points early, almost guaranteeing the top spot. Then we heavily used youngsters for rotation.

- All 36 teams will be in a single league
- Top 8 teams will qualify automatically to knockouts (RO16)
- 16 teams finishing 9-24th will play 8 playoffs
- (RO16) Top 8 teams will play the 8 playoffs winner
- Followed by QF, SF and Final

We probably get two surprises in the round of 16 but the rest will all be the usual suspects.
That’s when the real tournaments starts.

Do the 9-24 finishing teams play home and away or only home at higher seed?

Do you see us being able to play youngsters in the CL? Especially against the opponents we have?

I hate the way everything these days is reduced to “stories” (not talking about you personally, btw).
The “storylines” pushed by the media are further evidence of the dumbing down of modern society, and football is no exception.
