UEFA Europa League 2020-21

Another jump-penalty idiotism, this time by Oyarzabal.

Hopefully players drop that technique.

Rodgers Leicester on the brink of crashing out of europa while Gerrards rangers stay in.

Well well well It might be great to see Liverpool fall from grace and all the mockery that goes with it but then you have to try and entice fans to watch two European sides play when you have Leicester and WHU in Europe.

Because if they can’t beat Prague over two legs then their CL appearance isn’t going be great, just a reminder when we keep getting done over by dodgy refs.

And we have another failed jump-penalty attempt, this time in Rome.

:joy:

Surely you meant Prague?

I think he gets it… he just shit scared of it because it will expose his lack of tactical nous… Feel he acts rather cowardly and would rather throw in the towel before the match starts with his shit team selections so he has an excuse of sorts when his teams get beat… Still feel he fell from the top four CL places last season for the same reasons… Might be dragging this post back out at the end of this season if the same thing happens…!
Bodgers is all about Bodgers and his ego agenda of taking himself to the stars is being built on bullshit and bluff…

I think Leicester/Rodgers deliberately opted out and want to concentrate solely on top-four finish. But yeah, he has been shit in Europe all along.

I don’t think Rodgers wanted out of Europa. He played Vardy for the entire match, though leaving Barnes on the bench until 60’ was curious. That Prague side hasn’t lost a match in their league, scoring many goals, allowing few. Apparently, a tough nut to crack. But, sure, Rodgers is definitely not a knockout tournament specialist. More of a points accumulator.

I think people forgot how well Slavia competed last season in that incredibly difficult CL group. They only managed two draws, but their performances were actually very solid and merited a bit more. This could be a difficult one for Rangers, but of course, there were more difficult options here.

And yeah, Fonseca takes his Roma against his ex-Shakhtar team.

Will also be a good opportunity for him to get one up on Rodgers.

That Milan side ought to give Man U all they can handle.

Also the opposite. I could see United’s forward transition causing Milan (who didn’t have it easy against Red Star in the last round) a lot of trouble.

The Leicester thing…

Isn’t that just something nice for the fans to think about after a loss, sorry never bought that especially when it comes to Europe.

Usually never helps anyhow.

Once again… Pity no fans are allowed in the games
Could’ve seen Rangers taking about 25,000 supporters to Prague to watch that.!

Yeah. Milan has been sputtering in recent weeks. Besides, except Zlatan Ibrahimovic, there isn’t anyone who can be game changer.
