UEFA Europa League

United only beat Sociedad 1-0, so will face a playoff against a Champions League dropout.

I believe the correct term is…

Bwahahahahahaha

Yeah against one of the ones who dropped out of the CL I believe.

Barca would be fun. Basically incentive to top the group as you skip the last 16.

Qualified for EL round of 16: Arsenal, Fenerbahçe, Real Betis, Union Saint-Gilloise, Real Sociedad, Feyenoord, Freiburg, and Ferencvárosi TC.

Qualified for EL play-off round: PSV Eindhoven, Rennes, Roma, Union Berlin, Man Utd., FC Midtjylland, Nantes, Monaco, Ajax, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Barcelona, Sporting, RB Salzburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla, and Juventus.

Like to see United-Ajax you will never see more wankers on one pitch …

This is brilliant.

Ohh dear.

This is a rejuvenated Barca as well, firing on all fronts (except Bayern and Inter)

Since last season.

It is kind of new but essentially all it’s done is replace the old round of 24 to this and whoever advances from this goes into the last 16 along with the 8 guaranteed group winners.

I think it’s a better idea to be fair can’t be rewarding failure

Also it doesn’t reward the third place team in the CL directly.

Some good ties there, will watch a few for sure.

Either some big clubs facing each other, ties that could provide exciting games or clubs that don’t face each other often.
