They may have to now that they lost…
RVN is going out with a bang here
Lol just heard from the commentator, that Man U have turned the corner again, that is the biggest roundabout ever
The great PAOK no less.
So they’re basically back where they started
No issue turning all these corners, but someone needs to tell them they are going in the wrong direction, on the wrong side of the road and without a credible license!
Shhh! Let’s see how long it takes them to figure it out.
The bloody cheek to use words like “pogrom” given what Israel is doing in Gaza and the West Bank.
Also please give it a bloody rest. It’s not anti semitic, not acknowledging that Israel’s actions in Gaza is a direct reason for this is to actually diminish the value of the term anti-Semitic.
Language aside, there are a lot of first and second generation people of Arab descent who live in Amsterdam. Given their utter inability to have any effect on the going-ons in Gaza, even a blind person could see this happening.
Not sure what the solution is. I was about to say play in an empty stadium but that would be punishing the Dutch side unnecessarily.
Certainly to compare it with the November Pogrom of 1938 which was a state sponsored attack on Jewish people. I don’t think that there is any suggestion that the Dutch authorities had any involvement in these attacks.
'Online footage showed men leading chants of “now you know how it feels” as Israeli football fans were kicked and beaten on the streets.
Video shared on social media ahead of the game also showed Maccabi fans shouting “F— Palestine” and tearing down Palestinian flags.
Reports claimed local taxi drivers reacted to the scenes by plotting revenge on the Maccabi fans after the game.’
(Jewish News)
From the other perspective
Maccabi fans were vandalising local businesses, tearing
down Palestinian flags in certain neighbourhood attacking taxi drivers and shouting genocidal slogans “death to Arabs” and “there are no schools in Gaza aa there are no children In Gaza”. Inside the stadium, they set off flares and refused to keep quiet to the 1 minute silence for the Valencia flood victims.

This match should have been played behind closed doors or a safe neutral country or banned due to the volatile situation.
Just when you think it’s impossible to hold a nation in more contempt , they dispatch their emissaries to remind everyone of the cancer at the country’s core.
Only a volatile situation because the Tel Aviv nationalists came with an agenda. No surprise to me that they feel so emboldened after a Trump victory. Unfortunately, I see this violence as only a precursor to what lies ahead.
What next quoting Pravda or KCNA Watch?
I mean, if Jewish News (assuming it’s an actual legitimate Jewish publication instead of some antisemitic astroturf) is talking about the bad behaviour of the Maccabi fans…
Big game tonight. While I am no actual real fan, you may say that, hell yes I will be watching Manchester United vs Bodø/Glimt and I will cheer for the yellow’s fierce as fuck !!!
This season has been difficult for Glimt. They are in danger of not winning the league. Last game this weekend. Their problem the last seasons have been their astounding European success. Every single season, they have had to sell off their attackers, midfielders or wingers. Every season they must buy new cheap players to slot into their system and develop. This season, their primary striker for this season have been injured and while they have been very good in midfield, the striker position has been a big issue for them.
And tonight is a super difficult game. It would have been better for them if MU had waited slightly longer to sack mr. Ten Haag. United have had an energy boost. They are at home and Bodø/Glimt have never played on such a stadium before (but they have played more hostile places, like in Roma etc). Aspmyra is not like Old Trafford. A cozy stadium, but more like what you guys are used to in a lower lv championship side, or one of the better Ligue 1 sides. Bodø doesn’t have a high population. Less than 43 thousand in the entire municipality. A large Norwegian town, but not a city. Their entire rise to become the best team in the Norwegian league is still very strange (and even more charming). That Kjetil Knutsen has managed to make them into a stable league winner and even more remarkably, the best Norwegian team in European competitions since the era of Rosenborg, is unfathomable and I hope Knutsen will one day be rewarded with the chance to coach one of the bigger teams in Europe. The gods knows he deserves it ! He has had several offers, but turned them all down, focusing on Bodø. But of course, the biggest clubs have not come after him yet. But there have been premier league sides. From the botton half of the table. He could have been a fairly rich man had he left previously. But he is still in Bodø.
How can I not enjoy this saga ? It is so god damn sexy and romantic ! And Bodø/Glimit plays like Glimt every game (ok, some modifications according to opposition ofc, but they play rock n roll offensive footie with fast wingers; sort of like a junior version of Liverpool early Klopp years and Dortmund), and they fucking beat the big teams way too often. Besiktas, Porto, Roma, Red Star, Zagreb and Celtic (ok, Celtic is not really that impressive, but it’s a very big club); they have beat them all under Knutsen’s reign. Considering the periphery that Norwegian football is these days, and the size of the club Bodø/Glimt, that is fucking impressive in oh so many ways !
Would be sweet it they manage a draw despite their recent offensive issues
I was going to watch, purely hoping for a Bodo win, but decided to stick to NFL this evening.
Enjoy your game of show-rugby
It’s started and Glimt was already down to United’s 16 meter
