There is a Manc expat who wanders into our Pub on some match days. He’s a decent enough bloke and he takes the friendly abuse really well. He continually asks each time in: “why isn’t there Carling here?”
Maybe because this is a shit Final, in a down the ladder competition, I will (sort of) hope Utd wins…just for this guy.

Watched the ManUre game till Mount scored. Absolutely bad football, I can’t remember seeing that much non-passes in a single game. If only the Spaniards had all hands on deck, who knows…
I am torn, dislike both clubs. My inner Macchiavelli says : Udt under Amorim are shit again like under their previous managers, may it stay that way, let him win one trophy, let him manage them a few months more…

I don’t know much about Ange too so I’m neutral on him.
On a likeability scale of 1-10, I put him on 5 or thereabouts.
Amorim otoh is off my chart, in negative territory.

I’d rather Man U lost but the upside of them winning is they’d be in the CL and that would mean they’d be looking for ST solutions instead of overhauling the club thus fuck up any attempt to focus on LT recruitment. Man U mediocrity forever with the odd cup thrown in? Suits me.
