Yeah but they could have started it today then again it’s in the morning over here. Even a league 1 match would do.

Nobody following this tonight?

I’ve just checked the half time scores; from a Liverpool perspective, Cody has scored for the Netherlands and… er… that’s about it. Oh - Mamardashvili kept a clean sheet and provided an assist as Georgia won 3-0 in Armenia.

Dom played the full 90 minutes (quelle surprise) as Hungary lost 3-1 to Turkey.

The biggest surprise so far is Croatia leading France 2-0 at the break, although fielding a midfield including both Guendouzi and Rabiot is asking for trouble. Poor Tchouameni has to be doing the work of three men.

Konate subbed off at HT. Just hope it was planned.

Let’s hope he played so badly that PSG no longer want to buy him.

Can VVD get another yellow please

Hato sent off for a very bad challenge for Holland, however I have the Spanish player looked like he was receiving and electric shock, bad over reaction but a definite red

He was telling the ref, he is doing it everytime and you do nothing about it on the corner

Couldn’t give a shit it would be nice if he missed the next game.

Where is Ronaldo actually playing nowadays?

He just gave away a penalty I am gessing he is getting hooked because of that?

Let’s hope that’s all it is.

Konate didn’t look good tonight. Very, very clumsy handball after which Croatia missed a penalty early on. Didn’t even moan against the decision. Again didn’t look right and got subbed at HT. Saw somewhere that he also picked up a knock, don’t know if it’s true.

Good win for Croatia tonight, we’ll see if France can turn it around in Paris. I have a feeling we might have enough to survive. France still miss Griezmann’s creativity between the lines. Tonight they opted for a diamond in possession (Dembele coming infield to receive) and a 4-4-2 off the ball.

Mbappe still had a pretty good game, in a somewhat different role to the one he has at Real. France were close in the second half on a couple of occasions to score, but the last move was missing. Croatia defended well, key tackles, blocks and stuff in vital moments.

No penalty’s for Portugal I guess.

Can hope it’s related to that cramp.

Not the first time this season he’s been subbed at HT. Probably playing with a minor injury that’s getting aggravated.

Deeply concerned about both Robertson and Tsimikas after watching both games between their respective counties.

Robertson has struggled physically and was subbed with 20 minutes to go. Scotland lost by 3 goals at Hampden to a Greece that dropped Tsimikas after his very poor showing in the first game.

I haven’t watched the other games but I understand that Konate was also terrible in the first half against Croatia, didn’t look right and has been relegated to the bench.

Also worth noting that Szoboszlai captained a Hungary side that lost to Turkey by an aggregate score of 6 to 1, and that Nunez was invisible against Argentina, while Alisson and Gravenberch are carrying injuries.

No idea how Gakpo, Van Dijk, Jones and Mac Allister performed (Gakpo’s goal aside).
