Really no point in leaving Dom out there tonight, if they want their best players to deliver they need to manage them. This probably goes on Slot a bit as well but then bar Soton it’s hard to find a gap where you can argue that up to now.
They all also have a title to win, when you go 2-3 down you’ll start conserving yourself.
Gakpo had a good game by all accounts and Diaz scored.
Konate is on the bench tonight if truth be told we don’t know when we will have a fit right back so that suits me fine.

So the Derby is not until the 3rd. The players will all get a good weeks rest at least. There should be no excuse.
Macca spent a bit of time on the ground getting chopped about but nothing serious. But they do play Brazil…

Jota is running like a gazelle for Portugal and compare his performance in our last match he looked knackered.

To be fair he has had a whole week off.
At least Konate had a night off and Gakpo came off early.
Probably now down to what happens in the South American ties on Wednesday morning.

He will be fine he had two assists and scored 1 that was offside. He was devastating on the counter in fact before he came on they were losing the tie.
The same with Gakpo he was bad for us but played well for Holland and scored if Koemen had not taken him off they probably would not have lost the penalty shootout.
It could also explain why they played badly in our last match to save themselves to play for their country who knows.
