UK Politics Thread (Part 1)

yeah. I’m just finding it increasingly uncomfortable that there are numbers of people, particularly in the media that are willing to cast aside concerns about mental health and racism.

It’s that same machine that makes people believe that the EU and immigrants are the same problem or any other fabrication that comes from these people. It’s so extreme now that Trumps statement that he could walk down 5th avenue, shoot someone and no one would bat an eyelid is absolutely true.

Alan Jones once advocated putting our PM in a hessian sack and drowning her out at sea.

He is a cunt of the highest order. Right up there with the Le Pens, Millers, and Farages of this world.

Do not give him a moment’s thought.

certainly not, but plenty of people do sadly. That’s my main concern. There should be some kind of social safeguard in place that means these people just dont gain any traction whatsoever. Whether that’s a thorough debunking and ridiculing of them or something else I don’t know.

Is Sky News Australia basically equivalent to Fox News? Or does it have a range of opinions amongst its presenters and Jones represents one extreme?

It is, at least, it was when I left, and I don’t imagine anything has changed.

As for presenting a range of opinions, I don’t know, I am afraid. I believe its news is far more balanced than its pundits, so very much like Fox, but there is no doubt it is, as a whole, as right as it gets in Oz.

Andrew Bolt is another odious cunt, his list of greatest hits is quite impressive…

Any London based posters voting in the Mayoral elections?

BBC News - London mayoral race 2021: The candidates who say they will be standing

I considering giving my vote to Drillminister

What about Count Binface
The Rose guy looks like a bit of a Trump character, what’s his story?

I considered Binface, but I am confused about his interplanetary policies for Earth.

I don’t know much about him apart from he was a former banker and CEO. He kinda looks like an upmarket property developer. He is into science based policies.

They look like contestants on the worst reality tv show ever

I know, i don’t know, it is difficult to choose the least worst candidate.

Don’t be so stupid.

(I was going to swear but I won’t, seeing that it’s @Maria )

Why? I am not going to vote for any traditonal party. I am doing a protest vote.
They are useless. These Low Traffic Neighnourhood (LTNs) have caused havoc in my borough by the Labour councillors, creating ridiculous 1 way systems. So many of my elderly neughbours are boxed in. Parking is a nightmare.

We were okay in Ealing until the LTNs were put in Ambulances and delivery vans journey are twice as long getting to residents houses.

Your vote is yours to do with as you wish. But every vote that isn’t for Sadiq Khan (and please remember that I am a member of the Green Party) increases the chances of getting a Conservative mayor.

Ask yourself: do I really want that?

If there was a hope, i would prefer the Green Party to win. I have gone off Labour.

I haven’t decided yet.

As would I!

But it ain’t gonna happen; in a straight fight between Labour and the Tories, Labour gets my vote every time.

And twice on Thursdays.

Conservatives will not win, i think.
I am just teeded off with every single politician right now.

I wishe we had Andy Burnham as London Mayor, i know he is an Evertonian, but he is a decent and honest guy.

One thing that you’ve got to remember. Sadiq has been clearing up a mess left by… BORIS!!!
