Not at all surprised. She’s a fucking charlatan.

It’s absolute madness.

GDPR is a pain in the arse, but it’s in now and businesses have already adapted. What is the point of telling businesses they have to adapt again to a new system as well as still be compliant with the European regs if they want to trade on the continent.

It’s beyond stupid. It’s zealotry.

The party of the people.

I’ve seen so many Tory shills saying because the pound has recovered, the last week has all been a load of hysteria about nothing. Ignoring a) that the pound hasn’t recovered, b) it only bounced back after the Bank of England pumped in 65bn, effectively protecting the pound against our own Government, c) this crisis wasn’t just about the pound.

The Tories financial competence is an absolute myth, and that’s been peddled on the public for decades. They have spent the last 12 years pursuing economically illiterate policies that have stunted growth and created wage repression. This crisis should bury that myth.

“Get a better job” - what does society do when all the buildings are covered in shit and all the shelves in the local supermarket have nothing on them?

It wasn’t long ago we were calling these ‘key workers’ and bashing pots and pans every thursday night to virtue signal show our appreciation.

The people who provide these basic, essential services to society deserve to earn a wage that can sustain them.

Excellent comment in one of the Guardian’s comments sections this morning:

“When you’re driving down a country road and you see a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle.
You know he didn’t get up there by himself. He doesn’t belong there, you wonder who put him there and he can’t get anything done while he’s up there.”

In the village where I live, there are signs everywhere thanking our key workers. When a local pub closed, and barriers went up outside to deter vandals, someone had the idea of using the barriers to thank our key workers. So we have an enormous vinyl sign saying how much we appreciate them, and there are loads of individual messages of support and thanks added alongside this.

This is the same village that returns a Tory every election and has done for decades.

This pretty much sounds like the behaviour at the end of Johnson’s reign…

Pathetic shitshow from a pathetic party.

Maybe the market experts might know better, but isn’t the recovery also largely due to the notion that there is, in theory, a plan?

Meaning that if they had actually gone through the proper processes, the initial disaster might not have been that bad?

But I guess, then their pals wouldn’t be able to profit from the chaos…

Good that she has a solid legal background to help her achieve this

@Kopstar

Don’t start. She’s a trainwreck and, frankly, an embarrassment to the profession. Immigration policies have been a succession of disasters. Can she implement sensible changes without falling foul of international law? It’s a challenge for even the most competent, I think her chances are zero.

She`s fucked then.

The latest attempt to broaden support for her party?

The fucking Lynton Crosby effect again. He started this shite with John ‘rodent eyebrows’ Howard under whom they started with ‘backflipping’; then double backflipping with a pike etc as the metaphor borrowed first from gymnastics then diving and was lapped up by the idiotic Murdoch media lapped as ‘policy substitute’. When the cunt left CrosbyTextor and moved to help the tories, ‘reverse ferret’ was chosen presumably as short hand for the Howard approach to be memorable enough for even the dimmest Tories to grasp. The absolute shite under the last few UK PMs owes at least in part due to the ‘expertise’ of some absolutely slimy Australian cunts who feel their ‘success’ with the little rodent should be replicated elsewhere.

God this country has some real scumbags to apologise to the world for. Kind of like 200 years of convict heritage got distilled down to a handful of irredeemable shits who are now being exported and having an outsized impact fucking stuff up around the world.
