What I do know is that your characterisation of her as nothing more than a conspiracy theorist who somehow just got lucky is ridiculous. And if all her claims are false then how come she keeps getting results ?

Defence of Truth 5. Following the determination of meaning, the Defendant (Cadwalladr) amended her defence to withdraw the defence of truth under s.2 Defamation Act 2013. The Defendant accepts that the single meaning is untrue [7].

If even she now accepts it was a false claim, maybe you can too?

I think that’s fair. Johnson could personally slaughter newborn babies live on national TV and it wouldn’t shift the thinking of those particular right-wingers. I think we are at the moment where the Conservatives probably can’t sink much lower in voter share but Labour certainly can lose ground massively if the Tories unearth a gem for them to exploit and convince the masses that Labour are, somehow, no better than them.

My view was that the UK would move left after leaving the EU. That looks like it’s happening.

Completely fair and a good and welcome prediction in my book. From the lead up to Brexit and beyond, this government has dragged the UK to the right, quite a long way too. It’s encouraging to see that we (the electorate) are reacting to that.

Wasn’t it a manifesto pledge that Brexit would not be renegotiated? And didn’t Tory MP’s have to sign a pledge of support for a deal they are now being asked to disown?

Don’t be premature. Lib Dem’s and Labour are both, to a greater or lesser extent, trying to occupy the centre.

The Tories have lurched further to the right, and taken a swathe of the electorate with them.

I see no evidence that the actual public have moved anywhere.
