Highly recommend you read the above.

Nails it.

It’s perfect. A withering distillation of how 13 years of Tory rule can utterly destroy a country. But it won’t ever be read by Rishi Sunak. Rishi isn’t interested in ‘Governance’. He is only interested in using the mechanisms of state to line the pockets of him and a chosen few.

The truly depressing thing is seeing how many comments in that thread are suggesting that Labour is just the same. Like fuck they are. They might not do everything you want, but they will be a lot more competent and a lot less corrupt than this fucking shower.

This laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate effort by some Cons (Truss people, right?) to kick out Sunak is so cute. He has just been himself. And they have just…chosen him.

I find it a bit amusing. He has generally done what they want. That public don’t like it and that he is an empthy suit, well, wasn’t the trajectory set and didn’t they know that he was just a suit when they elected him ?

Anyway, don’t want to mock too much, I know times are terrible for most in the UK as Saxon’s new album is on 3d place on the charts, and hard rock is only at the top of the charts in the UK during hard times where people actually needs music and escape.

Johnson people i think, but may go wider (Braverman etc)

Yeah, just saw Alexander https://twitter.com/APHClarkson
mention Truss people and mock it as a daft desperate idea intended to make Sunak take the fall. He tends to know, but maybe he’s wrong (or maybe both are true?)

I think Truss inherited some of these supporters by not resigning or publically condemning Johnson, so it is possible they are doing it on her behalf, but Johnson felt aggrieved by Sunak’s manouvreing and was the one to have brought Clarke, Anderson etc into Government. Johnson is also in the media for his support for Trump this week, timing may just be coincidence of course.

Seems pretty accurate

In other news, Nicola Sturgeon’s political career may be over, but her career as a stand-up comic has just begun.

Its a fake satirical account. Still probably accurate. But it is fake.

It’s actually Malcolm Tucker quotes from “The Thick of It”. I’ve also seen people “quoting” Sturgeon when it was a voiceover from Janey Godley. Having said that, the sentiment was probably spot on.
