Exactly, we all know this but still want more… seriously though is it to much to ask ?
No politician to tell lies.
No media bias and scaremongering or opinions , just facts .
No politician to make money from awarding contracts to mates /foreign nations etc
I know it ain’t happening , but fuck me this country really has fallen so much that, these are the best we can offer to inspire the next generation?

Or failing that to have some basic principles and remain consistent with them.

You need money to run a business. Newspapers are going the way of the dinosaurs. Right now, who’s giving them that money? Independence is impossible sadly. If any of us won 1000 lotteries on the spin and had more money than a Conservative PPE provider, would we run a media outlet that was impartial? Or would it be bent to our own personal beliefs? No point affording the power if you don’t wield it. Possibly too much GOTs……
So why is it causing so much shock and outrage if it is already known that is what he will do?
Expect the worst, that way you’ll never be disappointed

Said it before. Billionaires buy newspapers so it gives access to influence public opinion and politicians to influence policy. They’re now infecting social media.
Fact checking doesnt exist only whatever message gets out with the biggest click bait title.
The result from years of this is one bitter, angry, and increasingly misguided and dumb public.
Its honestly a sad state from my perspective. I dont think its fixable short of a very large asteroid.

Christ alive. The cognitive dissonance going on in this thread is staggering.
On one hand Starmer is too right wing and should be more true to the socialist roots of the Labour Party. On the other hand Right Wing oligarchs control the media and turn on anything too left of centre.
Fucks sake.
Keir Starmer has one objective right now, and that’s to get in power. The country cannot afford principled opposition. We’re 14 years in to the most incompetent, corrupt and callous Government that this country has ever seen. And if Labour isn’t that, then it’s a vast improvement on what we have now.
Meanwhile here are some things from the Labour manifesto (which you’ve all obviously read) which are, apparently, just the same as the Tories.
Renationalising the railways - VAT on private schools - a windfall tax on excessive company profits - closing non-Dom loopholes - creating 6,500 new teachers - 3000 new nurseries - setting up a new energy company to kick start a clean energy industry - retrofitting five million homes - banning no-fault evictions - scrapping the Rwanda scheme - banning zero hour contracts - ending fire and rehire - lowering the voting age to 16 - abolishing heridary peers - reforming House of Lords.
So no. They aren’t all the fucking same.

The fact that the Daily Mail, The Express and the Times are still absolutely shitting themselves at the prospect of a Starmer Government is reason enough to vote Labour.
Does anyone honestly believe that The Mail would be this desperate if Starmer was basically no different to the Tories.

Just opened up labour.org.uk and the first thing that popped into view was them asking me for money.
Telling me they need to raise £1 million in the next 7 days

That’s it. That’s all they have compared to all the rest which are solidly Tory.
This isn’t something new though and I don’t know of a country where it isn’t the case.
Even if they do all this they will be called liers because Starmer didn’t keep his promise to shave off his pubic hairs. Of course a promise he never made and only his partner should know whether he did it or not.
For the record this is precisely my point regarding the media and oligarchs. They simply wont allow it, and have been slowly feeding the idea that any such idea or person is a really bad thing.
And people have lapped it up in their droves when in reality it only serves the few.
I fully expect the Mail, Express, @Klopptimist and more subtly the Telegraph to go full tilt on July 5th if Starmer gets in but right now the country really needs him as PM. He may not be to everyones taste but he is miles away from anything the Tories and Reform can offer. They will basically offer more of the same from the last 14 years.

Actually currently building my youtube studio. This is gonna be GOOOOOD Day 1. Probably from about 11:30pm I suspect. Not that I have anything planned……
What’s your YouTube channel going to be about?
Slagging off Starmer when he doesn’t deliver world peace by 09:30 next Friday morning?

We wont have zero carbon in 7 decades
Only when the birds sing words and the flowers croon.
Yes. I get about six or seven emails and texts a day asking for money.
This is because the Tories can outspend them about 10 to 1. That’s always been the case.
