What’s your take on the confirmed ministers?
They say fact is stranger than fiction. Currently in Liverpool Royal A&E (as you do) Just overheard the head nurse asking another if her patient was mentally capable as he’d been sending threatening messages to Rishi Sunak, they’d been called by Head of Westminster policing. There’s a paint scratch on the wall, Starmer’s a lazy git, I want him here in 5 mins with a paintbrush.
I think it is a good idea for governments to separate these. Use government policy for the big economic and welfare issues that affect everyone but leave the social issues to the back benchers.
A famous case was legalisation for abortion. This was promoted by David Steel, who was a Liberal backbencher, but supported by Wilson’s Labour government as a private members bill.
Were you her patietn?
You’re too late. @Rambler best you to the Starmer Out post hours ago. Fail.
How’s your prison build going?
Nothing serious I hope.
Too early to say because being a Minister is such a big job, and most of them have no experience of being in government. But will probably be OK.
All but Ashworth and Debbonaire won re-election so should know their targets and briefs. Big Q is who replaces these two?
Apparently I got it wrong by the way, Ashworth was Shadow Paymaster General.
Don’t worry, his parents will making him pay by doing the laundry and babysitting his little sister. He is a good son and a lovely and thoughtful boy.
I tell you though, he will go far in life. He is so good at debating and he always wins the argument.
It’s a very touching story Maria and a positive one about UK democracy.
Imagine him trying that in Russia or China. Good luck to the lad
But they’re all the same…

You writing copy for randoms on X now, @PeachesEnRegalia?
Well, the past 14 years were horrible, but by no means low-budget.
Expensive.
