Sunak has staked his leadership on bringing ethics and decency back into Government. If he doesnāt sack her, Labour will absolutely pulverise him.
A minister on her third breach of the ministerial code simply cannot use the ālessons have been learnedā defence.
Mock all you like, but refusing to sack her at this point will make Sunak look like a weakling, incapable of delivering his core offer to the public, and hands Labour a bucketload of ammunition to attack him with.
I donāt think heāll sack her, but thatās because he is a pathetic excuse for a Prime Minister with less backbone than a jellyfish.

Iām not sure this actually works. John Major accommodated his S.H.1.T.s and they ripped his administration apart from the inside out. If he had simply sidelined them he had plenty of capable people that could have done a job in government - which is probably what Sunak lacks.

Brexit true faith purity bullshit really thinned put the talent pool in the Tory ranks. There is very little he can form a government from.
But I think he knows he is in post at the whim of the ERG. They hold the power.
