UK Politics Thread (Part 3)

Bring back Mogg

If there’s one political party leader in recent history that appears to me to be more of a big wet blanket spineless type, it’s Starmer.

He reminds me of Sgt Wilson.

Wilson always amused me because he could wind up Mainwaring without ever trying.

Six years ago the nail was hit well and truly on the head.

Have watched this many times, appeared in my feed this evening.

Regardless of what you think of Starmer (I disagree), her shadow in the Home Office is Yvette Cooper. Cooper will be licking her lips at the prospect of getting stuck into an opposite who has broken the ministerial code three times.

PS. You are seriously over-estimating your comedic skills. You can’t post gifs in the House of Commons.

No, I’d have to actually engage the brain.

Which I can.

All part of the obsequious fawning by all the monarchists.

Damn. The government is going to be losing a talented politician and fine human being there.

I’m assuming that he has seen some opinion polls.

He obviously hasn’t had enough time to bully his familly sufficiently, now he can get things back on track!

No just red!

Look at today’s Telegraph front page.

It’s an exemplar in how to do a Tory Newspaper cover story post Brexit.

Problem: That thing that all the experts said would definitely happen because of Brexit is definitely happening.

Solution: Blame it on Gordon Brown and over regulation. Don’t mention Brexit anywhere. And look, Kate talking to some children! Ahhh.

To be fair, I don’t think it is just Brexit. Whats-her-name-PM-for-5-minutes caused an impressive amount of damage to London’s position considering how long she was in for

You’d have to ask why the policeman appeared to have his back to the roadblock.
Surely against some law to stop traffic like that?

I fucking love this analogy!

He’s a weird cat, but I reckon he is bang on about most things.

There’s a surprise. Lefties will be in rapture.

So basically the police and former labour first minister Alun Michael are basically lying through their arses that most of those rioting in Ely know…just like last time the riots happened there.

*900 meters form the crash. That is quite a lot of meters. The two could be linked, but this is hardly damning evidence.
