UK Politics Thread (Part 4)

This alone, if done by Labour, would make me never want to vote Labour. This what I would expect from a Reform or MAGA think tank

p.s. I said “if” only because I’m not sure from the picture who sponsored it.

And i think it is. It is what Rob Ford in his blog was saying Reform’s candidate Matt Goodwin was accusing the Greens of on his sicial media account

I can’t make it out clearly but that might even be a picture of Matt Goodwin on the side of the van?

Yep, all day yesterday my feed was full of Reform people spouting this stuff.

Absolutely classless.

Anyone ever notice how Reforms stuff is always negative or about punishment.

For example, the row with Bangor University, “don’t let us preach at your student society, we’ll cut your funding”

Cutting net zero stuff is another.

Old one but this has been a Reform attack line.
Shame this wasn’t dug up earlier

I can’t read the article so don’t see how they have identified that as being from Labour.

The fact that you can’t tell shows that electoral law has been broken. The number plate is visible, so it would be difficult to trace the owner.

It mentions that the Greens have reported it to the police and name Labour as the responsible body. I don’t particularly trust The National for news reporting, but as I said above, it’s easy enough to trace.

That guy has to be a grade A nutter,or a Maga who got lost on the pond!

I would have thought it would be the police who would track the vehicle ownership once reported unless something obvious stands out to those reporting it, and given how closely it matches the messaging from the Reform party, I can’t see why they would assume it is a Labour van.

Is the National an SNP leaning paper?

Lizzi Collinge has denied it was Labour on Bluesky.

Would anyone really put it past Reform?

I just cannot bring myself to believe that Labour would be so stupid, particularly since, as @RedWhippet points out, this is not exactly a Danny Ocean level heist perpetrated by master criminals.

They’ve been rumbled already. Remember the letters from a concerned neighbour?

Increasingly more pathetic from BBC. This is what passes for in depth journalism? Nice try Laura.

It’s pro Scottish Independence. It started out after the Independence referendum because the proprietors saw a gap in the market, but I know plenty of SNP supporters who regard it as shoddy journalism.

Remind me again how one can claim there is a level playing field in the UK??

I remember the story being met with ridicule when it was published.

And in other news… Labour have obviously decided that the response to losing Gorton and Denton is to double down on being the nasty party:

Totally take your point and agree with it, but we need to digest this statement…

More than half of Reform UK members believe non-white British citizens born abroad should be deported or encouraged to leave, according to the first publicly available poll of those in Nigel Farage’s party.

Citizens.

CITIZENS.

You cannot say they have a point. You cannot say you agree with them trying to shake things up.

Anyone who sympathises/chimes with any part of their world-view is a piece of shit.
