So, the girl in Nuneaton, 12 years old, reported by the BBC as having been raped by an Afghan asylum seeker.
If that was the one and only case that existed, then the UK is a worse place because of what you’re defending. That little girl’s life, future relationships, likely destroyed by this animal. How can you therefore say it’s made no difference???
But that’s exactly how it comes across. Why bring our own deviants into the argument? I don’t see the need. We all know we have our own.It’s pure deflection.
The very fact this conversation/argument is taking place tells me it has made a difference.

The fact that a single person has had their life destroyed by one of these absolute monsters shows it’s made a difference. Can you imagine how a 12 year old child feels being raped? How she must have begged, prayed…whatever.

I’m not saying every man from Afghanistan (or other similar country) is a monster, I’m saying there is no reason to have them here at all because clearly some of them are absolute scum and we can’t tell when they arrive on a dingy with no passport.

Generally immigration has been a massive positive for the UK. We don’t win the battle of Britain with Polish, Canadian and so on pilots. No Freddie Mercury, NHS would be dead and so on. At the same time do I like the unbridled immigration post 2016? No I don’t.
Had you asked if successive government policy over the last 60 years, which includes immigration, had been a positive, then I’d probably say no.
It isn’t, to me anyway. I see rape as the problem, and convictions even more so. I agree that they shouldn’t be let into the country but I also don’t think it’s fair to label everyone from a particular country a sex offender either.
Anyone else other than Mascot got the balls to pin their colours to the mast and say that these undocumnented men arriving on small boats has either:
A. Made the UK a better place
B. Made the UK a worse place
C. Made no difference
There is no nuance at all in this question. It’s basic and simple. We get to the nuance after this is answered.
If you have an opinion on this issue, you must logically be able to clearly and confidently answer this simple question.
It’s fundamental. I say the UK would be better if not one single person had ever arrived illegally on a small boat.
I say that just one single rape of a child by one single illegal immigrant would make it clear that the UK is a worse place for it.

A single horrific crime is no more illustrative of the net effect of this type of migration than a single simple-minded and disingenuous question posed on an internal forum is of the potential racism of the questioner.
Also, you collapse a horribly complex and nuanced issue down into a single dimension and declare nuance off limits until afterwards, presumably in the hope of highlighting the cowardice of someone who answers A/C.
