To be fair, weirdo did discard her for Loomer.
By the way, I wish Jo was running Momala’s campaign. She has some serious wit.

If momala campaigns with Cheney any more, I am going to vomit. Make it stop.
This line by Greene, saying “the climate is going to change” is never followed up by “and what we should do is…” it’s always “and what we should not do is…”. They’re the party of inaction, the party of not-giving-a-fuck, the party of status quo.
For a party that are constantly harping on about how shit the country and world is right now they seem absolutely dedicated to changing not a single thing about any of our problems.
Sam with gun violence. “Thoughts and prayers… never want to see this… blah blah blah” but never, ever, ever anything to actually change the culture of violence.
JD Vance the other day another example. Asked what he would do to stop rampant childcare costs (for anyone who doesn’t have kids, it’s fucking ridiculous, I was paying around $30k a year for my kid to go to daycare, just a normal daycare nothing fancy, until we decided we were better off just having my wife stop working since she was making barely more than that in her job anyway). Vance’s “policy”… have grandma help out. Just to be clear that’s not get some sort of system where you can claim tax benefits for looking after your grandkids or anything like that, no just “have grandma help” as his campaign policy on childcare costs in this country.
They’re fucking idiots.
Their only policy is to reject any policy.
Vance did propose stronger windows to stop gun violence.
Callous weirdo.
It’s so hard to watch that I now understand why the cult says don’t really listen to weirdo
His brain is melting in real time. Funny how those that pretended to care about Biden’s mental decline don’t give a shit.
This sort of says it all:

It is as if ‘Being There’ was a documentary, but a more malevolent version
Or to go even further, it is not just the expression of concern for only one side, it is the exact scenarios that were used to argue Biden’s unfitness are being demonstrated by Trump on a daily basis. You cannot even argue that the discrepancy in treatment is due to Biden’s gaffe’s being of one sort Trump’s of another less meaningful kind.
Biden at least had competency while in office to argue his issues were bog standard mental flubs that all of us make (see getting hammered for not being up to it while finalizing a complicated and delicate multi lateral prisoner swap deal the day he was announcing he was exiting the 2024 race). For Trump, the only alternative explanation for it not being a disqualifying age related discrepancy is to argue he has always been a moron incapable of understanding even the simplest of questions and respond with anything resembling a coherent factual response.
New NPR/PBS News/Marist Poll shows Harris up 2 pts nationally, however the dem lead with black voters has dropped significantly (over 10pts), Latino vote has also dropped, and Trump leads Harris with undecided voters. I think this is a brutally bad poll result for Harris.
No idea how reliable this poll is, and unfortunately it doesn’t drill down on swing states.
Classic Democrat strategy - absolutely terrified of their own base so go chasing after disillusioned Republicans instead.
I dont think that is fair. There is not a single step away from the Dem focused campaign they have had to take to earn the support of Cheney and nothing they have had to give to buy the support. That is what makes this different than the normal “I will work across the aisle and to demonstrate that I will fill my cabinet with Republicans” sort of Democratic strategy.
The poll is also a month old, taken before the debate.
Very fair and logical response. Having lived in the Middle East for a while, I just have a horrible gut reaction when I hear a Dem thanking the Cheneys, especially Dick. These lines can get blurred quickly and I worry about opportunism.
But again I see and respect your point.
I can also see Liz voting secretly for the weirdos anyway too. Call me @cynicaloldgit if you want.
The Walz debate has depressed my optimism. He did his job in having a “civil” debate that was aimed at winning over non-Trump supporting Republicans but it also served to make Vance look completely reasonable.
Should have gone for the throat and exposed him as the charlatan he is but instead Democrats strategists decided to go for the nicey-nicey approach because they were scared that anything remotely confrontational would upset the “centre” voters.
I’m concerned because the Democrats are approaching this election, since the convention, as though it is an election where they can win over Republicans rather than energise the base. Unless they actually start talking to Democrats soon I can see a lot of energy and enthusiasm petering out.
I’d tell the Cheney’s to go fuck themselves but that’s just me.
I wonder if it’s the influence of the Labour advisers.
Oooph. I couldn’t say this better. I feel exactly all that. She had the weirdos on the ropes after the convention and felt like she let them off the hook. I am more worried.
Thankfully I am usually wrong (see my Gomez scoring predictions).
