Not just politics. I remember reading how American businesses struggled to sell products in japan because they used the style of adverts used in the US which Japanese audiences just found too aggressive and unecessarily c9nfrontational.
It´s probably both

100% agree, yet to add a caveat, it would work when the for is a wash (If nothing much has changed in the past 4 years), however in this case the for are many and consequential.
Anderson: Some might ask, you been in the White House for 4 years, you were vice president not the president but why wasnât any of that done for the last 4 years?
âWell there was a lot that was done but thereâs more to do Anderson. And and Iâm pointing out things that need to be done that havenât been done but need to be doneâ - Kamala Brown
My 8 year old niece could give better answers than word salad Kamala. I love how she never answers questions just goes on word salads avoiding the answer and now sheâs getting upset when the interviewers interrupt her because she wonât give an answer.
Itâs a coin toss but I think Kamala is going to win because I think we will see a surge in female voters
Whereas we all know Trump is eloquent and coherent in his thoughts. Did you know he stopped wars with France?
She is right! Trump didnât get anything done. His fanfare bill was to build a wall - AND get Mexico to pay for it! Didnât do it. Didnât do it.
His other main platform piece was to replace Obamacare. Nope! Didnât do anything there either.
Edit:
As for word salad, listen to Trump speak. It is night and day with Harris. Which is, of course, why he wonât debate her, as the American people will get a side-by-side comp, and even with all his hubris, he knows that would be bad for him.
She hasnt avoided the answer, its the first part of her response. And itâs not a word salad at all.
It wasnt done because other things needed doing first. They do need doing and will be if she is elected president.
Do you need kneepads for all your fellating of Trump?
That is the same dismissive attitude that is going to cost her the election. His appeal is the wide variety of guests and subjects he covers, hence the diverse reach of his audience. I watch some of his shows that I find incredibly interesting (Brian Cox), while what 10 minutes of other and can tell if they will be interesting to me or not.
I donât think Harris is entertaining enough so she has very little to gain by doing the interview. If the View or Anderson Cooper is going to trip her up, then I donât think she has a chance making an impression on Rogan.
Itâs not surprising that an Anti-Trump will interpret it that way. I think he is referring to Tariff war, not an actual war with France, e.g. I stopped a war against France (going to war against France) or I stopped a war with France (going to war with France against someone else). All moot points as he was referring to tariffs imo.
I have not listened to the actual clip, just saw it being discussed. I know how his language is misinterpreted so I donât really bother with these ridiculous attempts to deflect, hence not me bothering to listen.
Right, I am fairly sure that he must have been referring to a potential trade war. But when you cannot actually tell and need to give him the benefit of the doubt, I think that might rate the term âword saladâ?

He offered to debate her, she refused the suggested debate dates and networks, then found out she did well in the one debate and decided she needed more, while Trump team saw the decline of her campaign even at that stage so did not see the need to debate again. She should have taken up the offer, end of story.

Word salad is the need to give a 7 minute answer to a very specific question, and then not at all answer the question. She did horribly in that interview. I give Cooper a lot of credit (surprised me) that he pushed her with a very obvious follow up question that was easily answered if she were prepared.
EDIT: The question was asked in a way that had subtle connection to the border, in all honesty it was a difficult question. Iâm paraphrasing here, the question was how are the immigrants going to be assimilated into us, how is it going to be paid and how much it was going to cost, what benefits are they now getting. The followup question from AC was a slam dunk that she fumbled and should have been ready for. Unprepared.
This forum is very funny, itâs def my favorite spot to checkout daily!
It doesnât matter what you say about Harris/Democratâs, the cult will defend it at all costs. But when it comes to Trump, it doesnât matter what he says, you guys will attack him relentlessly.
the cult will defend it at all costs
Oh the irony.
ssly.
Have fun living in a country with two polarized cultsâŚI swear we do better in Quebec where we really do speak two different languagesâŚ
Sure, not a great performance. But in turn you are disregarding a clip where it is not particularly clear that Trump is referring to a trade war, from the guy we know just absolutely makes stuff up (i.e. Merkel leaving her position due to windmills)

No, youâre just misinterpreting him/making things up to smear him, obviously!
