Trump’s proposal for mass deportation of immigrants is a moral abomination |...
This would be a horrific program of ethnic cleansing – yet most of the media reaction has focused on the economic costs
You just as paranoid as a conspiracy theorist.
Importantly though, it is not a conspiracy theory. It is just taking what he says seriously. And in that I have the advantage, seemingly in contrast to you, of having actually paid attention to the things he has said, and what the people behind have made a career pushing for.
But if you dont believe him, game it out for me. What is the defense for supposed positive case for only pretending to be a fascist on the campaign trail but not actually being one? Isnt pretending and spewing this into the world bad enough even if he has no intention of doing it?

'Mass deportation' would require nationwide intelligence, local law enforcement cooperation and family detention, according to immigration law experts.
Donald Trump has promised to deport millions of migrants if he's elected. He wants the largest mass deportation in U.S. history. How Trump plans to do that and its likely consequences.
How is it a conspiracy theory if it’s exactly what Trump has said he will do? Surely a conspiracy requires secrecy. He’s proclaiming this every time he speaks to the public.
In addition, he calls human beings ‘animals’, this is exactly the language of fascism.
Your excuse seems to be ‘he doesn’t mean it’, in that case, why say it? Why incite hatred? How can you justify that?
Polls suggest Harris and Trump still neck-and-neck, but Democrats pessimistic and Republicans confident
Wonder how many tuned in to see what kind of idiocy he would come up with next…there appears to be no limit to it!
Listening to Michigan Football radio, Senate campaign negative ads are absolutely hammering at the Democratic candidate on issues like protecting women’s sports, transgender in schools, etc. Nothing as extreme as the absurdity that comes out of Trump’s mouth, but this stuff is definitely landing with the soccer moms. Perhaps an ad every 3 cycles, which in American football is quite a few ads.

At some point you need to ask yourself if he really even disagrees with the rhetoric if he’s just hand-waving it all away. If nothing else, Trump has done well in exposing the unspoken thoughts of people we once assumed were decent human beings.

It is unfortunately becoming quite clear that the nihilist vote is rather significant in the US.
The “of course he isn’t going to round up and arrest/deport 20m people” argument coming from the same serious people who brought us
A final pre-election case for understanding the president as a noisy weakling, not a budding autocrat.
Why vote for a noisy weakling or a budding autocrat? Both shit choices.
He won’t be weak if he gets in with a majority in Congress and a completely compliant party judiciary and media.
I’m offering a (domestic) beer and a (well) shot to any NY resident willing to sign my petition for Claudia and Karina.
A lot of people outside the US will be rather confused by the term “well shot”.
Like a “Depth Charge”?

As if 99% of Magats even have a clue what nihilism actually means. It’s racism, misogyny, and xenophobia that is pumping up the Trump base. They don’t have disdain for everything, just everything they don’t agree with, and anyone who doesn’t look like them.
I’m sure you have been watching. He has done prep work in various swing states to install officials in the vote tallying and reporting process.
2020 was probably child’s play and crass in its approach. I need you to find me 12,000 votes…
This time around he will be more prepared. The play is to delay the reporting of the count and then have the Supreme Court rule on it prematurely to call him the victor.
Hopefully it won’t fly, but he has been preparing for this, not just with the appointing of officials, but also with the big lie, to the point that a high percentage of Republicans believe the last election was stolen. Trump has created the current climate around elections so there is not a lot of trust in them, and last time there was not a peaceful transfer of power, and there was a violent attempted coup.
I hope you are right in that he does not have power as he is not the incumbent, so any funny business is squashed forthrightly by those who do hold power.

he has been preparing for this
I’m not sure if he has, or the people around him, the whole party machinery.
